Nothing finer than JJ's Diner. Not many will know what I am referring to. Those of you that do, understand why this place is so cool. However.... They don't serve waffles!!! Not even to honor the memory of Leslie Knope. When they serve waffles, I will change to 5 stars! :)

Ate here just recently, food was outstanding and the server was friendly enough. Even though this is a casual place they should at least point out the specialty diet menu and briefly go over specials. None of this was done. And my biggest pet peeve is when after a server drops off food and DOESNT EVER CHECK BACK to see how you are, and ask about refills, it's pretty basic. I will be back though.

I wasn't very impressed. I read all these great reviews about the breakfast, but I didn't see many reviews about the lunch & dinner. I got a tuna melt, the tuna was very sweet as if it had sugar in it. The service was slow, and the employees didn't seem thrilled to be there. I've experienced better food and service elsewhere.

Great breakfast, within walking distance. Morning Special is perfect meal. Loved their pumpkin pancake!

This is the go to place for PIE in the valley. Delicious pies and reasonable prices for them. Breakfast is ok but for lunch and dinner the food is mediocre at best- OVERPRICED. Furniture and interior is worn out and dated. Staff is courteous, friendly, professional. Easy parking lot. I went in on a weekday afternoon and was the only customer there. I brought my laptop in to enjoy some pie and coffee and get some work done only to realize that there is NO WIFI. This is 2014, please provide Wifi for customers. If I could give this place a 3.5 I would because the pies are good but because of the other things lacking I really can't fathom giving 4 stars.

Oy. I don't even know where to begin. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and I love the experience of going out somewhere to breakfast. However, 4 N 20 has completely purged my desire to ever go out for breakfast again. And depending on how long I can keep it in, that may soon be taken literally. I was happy to see they had turkey bacon on the menu, and I was craving scrambled eggs, so it made sense to order the "turkey bacon & eggs", and I ordered it with hash browns and the blueberry bread. My boyfriend ordered the regular bacon and eggs, with hash browns and white toast. I was excited for the blueberry bread, because I thought it would be like raisin toast, except with blueberries. It turned out to simply be a blueberry muffin in the shape of a slice of cake. Weird. It tasted like a normal blueberry muffin, not the worst I've ever had, but definitely not the best. It was extremely moist, but not in a good way. It was clear it was made with waaay too much butter. My boyfriend couldn't eat his toast because it was badly burned, and it had butter on it, which he had forgotten to tell them he didn't want. When the plates arrived, I noticed the weird ratio of potatoes to eggs on our plates. It seemed like 2/3 of the plate was covered in the hash browns, while the tiny pile of eggs was almost hidden by the turkey bacon, covering the other 1/3 of the plate. We dug into our food. When I took a bite of the hash browns, I wasn't sure if I was eating potatoes, or a large stick of butter. It was disgusting, and made both of us sick to our stomachs. I do enjoy butter in moderation, but this was pretty awful. My boyfriend cannot STAND butter, so I felt bad that all he was able to eat was his bacon (which he seemed to enjoy) and the eggs (which were also fairly buttery). I did a quick calorie estimation and discovered that, because of all the butter and grease, I probably ate a day's worth of calories. I know if I had cooked that same meal at home, those calories would have been cut in half, at least. I guess I'll be cooking my own breakfast at home for a while now. I haven't tried their lunch or dinner, but after seeing what the two ladies next to us ordered for lunch, I don't think I'll be trying it anytime soon. They had soup and a half a sandwich, but it looked pretty drab and unappetizing. I want to try one of their pies sometime, but after this experience, I'm afraid it's simply going to be too buttery for my taste. The service was great, I'll give them that. The guy who sat us and the waitress who served us were both very nice, good people. The parking lot was a bit weird, but we went on a weekday morning, so it was easy to find a spot. I know you just have to take some things as they are, like a greasy diner is a greasy diner, and you should accept that. HOWEVER - I don't understand how some people can continually eat at places like this and not feel completely disgusted with themselves.

The food is pretty damn good. Be sure and save some room for the desserts, too. All the "pie" comments here ain't for nothin'. Omelets, sandwiches, salads, soups, veggie burgers on and on... good stuff. Parking lot is cramped. No valet parking, either. I even saw a fistfight once over a parking space! Prices are reasonable, even for starving artists. Service is good too, maybe because of all the starving artists working there. Then again, it could be despite them. Four N 20 is a great people watching place too, if you like that kind of thing. And not just TV stars from CBS in Studio City... porn stars too! Ahem, not that I would know one if I saw one....

Pros: 1. Joe Lo Truglio goes there 2. delicious pies 3. peppy waitstaff 4. huge, vegetarian friendly menu 5. my group is always seated really quickly even when it's crowded 6. the back room has banquet tables that are perfect for a big group Cons: 1. Weird parking lot 2. Nasty soyrizo omelette

I have pretty much only eaten two meals at this restaurant, though I've gone so many times. Breakfast: two eggs, hash browns and the AMAZING CORN BREAD!!! Dinner: chili My husband has experienced a much wider variety of food here and usually enjoys one of their sandwiches. I have ordered the pies, they are pretty good. But, I just made my first homemade apple pie a few weeks ago and it was much better than theirs (this according to my husband - and I agreed). They just raised their prices, they used to be really well priced for L.A., but now are about average. The waitstaff is nice, and the owner is around but has never talked to us. It's a basic diner feel - no frills. Parking can be a pain on the weekends. Their lot fills up fast and the street parking is almost impossible.

Went one Saturday morning. Not busy at all. Our server was very nice and sweet but between her and the chef, they royally screwed up our orders. One item from each of four people's plates had something slightly wrong and needed to be returned. Felt bad we had to keep returning but it just wasn't happening this time. Good food though!

The negative reviews are really rather unfair. This is a coffee shop (diner to you east coast people). It's not a fine restaurant. But as what it is, it's considerably better than average, and it's a pleasant place to sit and enjoy comfort food. I challenge any of the 1 and 2 star people to name a better coffee shop within three or four miles of this one (there isn't one, because I've been to all of them). Beyond that range, I can name some close equivalents, but for the immediate neighborhood, this place is it.

The best key lime pie in LA! I also recommend their chocolate cream pie.

I'm shocked by this place! Total ripoff but no one seems to aware of it? Following is what we had with the menu price/actual charged. A root beer float (4.50/4.75), chocolate malt (4.50/4.75), strawberry malt (4.50/5.50 bc fruit is a dollar extra?!), tuna melt (9.25/9.75 bc fruit is extra, although we specifically asked if it came with). $27 for three tiny drinks and a big (and good) tuna melt with a giant wedge of honeydew, two unpeeled quarters of an apple, and unpeeled pieces of orange. Being that I'm originally from Australia, I thought this place would have meat pies (sucker right?? It's America!) so that's why we stopped in. Thought the place cute, balked at the prices and decided to just get a shake. I always try to undestand an establishment's pov, but in this case, sorry Four 'N 20, you are not for me.

This place rocks! And I whole heartedly agree with Ms. Lilani on this one, why would you go to a Denny's or an IHOP with this place around! Things I love here... -Welsh Rarebit -Pork Chops 'n Eggs -Eggs Benedict -Lumberjack -Soyrizo Scramble -Banana Fudge Pie (HOLY HOT DAMN!) -Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie ...Psssst, Stephy, it's your ass. And you wonder why I'm so big!

When I first started going to 4n20 with friends and family, I was hooked on their blueberry bread (basically a blueberry muffin in the shape of a wedge). I, nor anyone else that I've been here with, have ever been disappointed by their breakfast. Eggs, breads, pancakes, all amazing. My boyfriend always get the eggs benedict and he loves them. I've even been known to go on occasion by myself in the morning before work; when its not crowded they get you in, fed, and out quickly if you're in a rush. I've only had lunch/dinner here a few times, but I've enjoyed it each time. My friends always seem less down to go for anything other than breakfast though. It's not a bad price and the staff is always super friendly and accommodating. I plan to keep coming back for a looong time.

I've been here four times and it always disappoints. This is the kind of place I want to like. Its neighborhood-y and open late. But the food is barely average and its remarkably spendy for what it is. The high point would be the deserts, but there's nothing here that is remarkably different than Dupars. Still, this is a better option than Marie Callendars, if that is what you are looking for.

Not impressed in any way whatsoever. When I order a milkshake for $4.50 at a diner, I expect a tall glass filled and the metal cup with the extra on the side. When I order a $9.25 tuna melt at a diner, I expect a huge sandwich of melted goodness, and not to be charged an extra 50 cents for the fruit that I was told was included after asking about it. Not to mention their "patio" is actually a pathetic walled-in room with regular windows. For some reason, that really bothered me. Service was fast, but certainly did not make up for the poor quality. You do not get what you pay for. I will not be returning.
(1)
Jon B.
The food is not too bad. I like the tortilla soup! Breakfast is ok too. Sometimes there is a quartet singing...kind of inappropriate but at least they are good. Depending when you go it can be a bit of a gay hangout (no pun intended). If that's your cup of tea then go for it.

I hate to do this, Four N 20, but lately you have let me down. In fact, after my last three visits, I have left your doors thinking, "Hmmm... that wasn't tasty at all..." First I ordered the Minestrogonoff soup. It was tasteless. Then I ordered a sandwich. It was forgetful. Then this weekend I went back again thinking that the third time will be the charm, and I wanted something light. I ordered the Chicken Oriental Salad (with the chicken on the side) and it was boring. Gross, even. Nothing more than iceberg lettuce with some cherry tomatoes, fried wantons from a box, and crappy, oily dressing. PLUS is cost $9 :( I dunno, Four N 20, I like you in theory and all, but can't seem to justify the crappy food you keep serving me.

Sing a song of sixpence, This place has got great pie, Four 'N 20 has no blackbirds, With that I'm pretty alright A tasty strawberry slice I opened, My heart began to sing They've got lots of delish dishes Like tortilla soup set for a queen A king tried their French beef dip It was quite good for his money I think our court will return again Because our waitress was as sweet as honey! Cheesy poem aside, this might be your average diner, but it's got a laid-back, at-home vibe and they've got really friendly service, which is sometimes all it takes to makes good food taste even better.

Hands down some of the best pie I've ever had. Their boysenberry heated up with vanilla ice-cream on top? A slice of heaven! (Get it ... a SLICE!) ;) Strawberry Rhubarb ... I don't quite know what a rhubarb is but it's yummy! And I don't even like pumpkin pie in general, but I could probably eat an entire Four N 20 pumpkin pie myself. As for regular food, I've never had a breakfast here I didn't like (omelets, pancakes, french toast ... all good)! And they have a reallllllly delicious chicken tortilla soup. It's admittedly a little pricey for a diner-style place, but the service is always great and the food is consistently good. Plus, did I mention the pie?

So I don't eat pie - I'm allergic to bread - but I still enjoyed going here with my roommates for a little craving-crusher. Had a yummy meal, eggs and ham with hollandaise sauce, and the price was comparable. It also left me stuffed (which is hard to do when i'm in "craving mode") Pretty good coffee, too, and I did sneak a little of Kit's lemon meringue and key lime pies (but not the crust) both were very good, though a little on the too-sweet side. This seems like a nice place to go when you're wanting something new and different. Since it's right off the 101, it's an easy locale, and I'm sure there's never a wait to be seated (except perhaps on a Sunday morning) Maybe not a regular haunt or a birthday party locale, but it merits a trip or two.

I wouldn't say I am a regular here but I do enjoy this place for a good breakfast. I have actually never had anything but breakfast here even if I went at hours when breakfast would not usually be served. Oh BTW- they serve breakfast all day too! I admit I like this spot, it's a local normal place compared to the over decorated, high pricey- fancy blah blah of the usual places in and around the Studio City off Ventura mix. The staff is always very nice and I have never had a bad experience with the service. My food is always cooked perfectly (but mind you it's not to hard to make eggs, pancakes or an omelet correctly) they seem to have it down to a science. If you're a health nut they have a special super lean menu for ya. Apparently they are known for the pies they make but I never add pie to my breakfast combo so I haven't gone down that road. But I must state; for the record- I LOVE THE BLUEBERRY BREAD! I usually head there for the blueberry bread and decide that I need a meal to go with. Great spot for a meal with a friend or a date (something casual) even family thing. ( I would actually go there alone. I always see people there reading by themselves.) Basically very chill spot. They can accommodate larger crowds. And it isn't too pricey but it has great food and a close family ran type of feel to it.

I must admit I came here to figure out the mystery of the name and did I? Nope, I still have no idea. The inner child in me has made up a theory and I'll just go with that for now. This is my go to place if I don't feel like trekking it anywhere, I live just a skip, hop and two jumps from here. The food is very middle of the road, it does the job. I have yet to be impressed, maybe next time? I highly doubt it. They apparently have pies, I've never indulged so I can't say if they are any good. The service is good, everyone is always very friendly and the food comes out fast. Almost too fast. Want a nice family run diner with decent food, well look no further.

Skipped dinner last night so I could pig out here. Loved the chicken tortilla soup, hot Reuben Sandwich with sauerkraut, and warm blueberry pie! Ugh, so stuffed I think I may have to skip dinner again.

Came here for dinner one night on my quest for a cute local diner and I got lucky. It was quite empty and this old people truck stop vibe so I was in heaven. We made our waiter's day by being his first customer in like three hours he said and he kept trying to make us order pie... not a bad thing but I was too full for pie. Food was good.... had the Chicken Parmesan which was delicious and I had enough for lunch the next day (woohoo!) Boyfriend had a burger which he claimed was just ok. I my only regret is I wish I had room left for some pie.

Your typical diner, but with a true home style feel. Overall, the food isn't that special but with friendly waiters, a wonderful ambiance, and mouth watering pies in the window...I think I'll be coming back for more. I came here at night when it was really quiet but the place was still full of people. When you walk in, it feels like someone's home. Imagine that you're visiting your grandparents or your aunts house. There's just something about it that's so inviting. As for the food, the menu doesn't stray from your basic diner food. They serve breakfast all day and have plenty of choices in terms of sandwiches, burgers, and home cooked meals. Like any diner, you can look at the wall and see a list of their daily specials. On this particular evening, I went with the breakfast menu and ordered the Eggs Benedict. It's a favorite of mine to order whenever I'm in a diner. Granted, it's a tough dish to make so it's a bit unfair of me to judge a place based on how well they make it. Sadly, they missed the mark with their Eggs Benedict. While it was passable, it didn't wow me and I wish I had ordered something else...which by looking at what my friends ordered, did look a lot better. One plus on this place is their tortilla soup. I had a bit of it and it's pretty damn good. The biggest thing this place has going for it is their pies. When you walk in, you see a windowed refrigerator that showcases all their different pies. I'm a type 2 diabetic so I have to watch what I eat but their pies was just something I could not pass up. I had the banana fudge pie and it made up for the eggs benedict. Next time, I'll order something other than the Eggs Benedict but I'll be getting the pie again.

I have to admit, I'd never even heard of this place until recently but was intrigued when a co-worked suggested it for lunch one day. It's a basic diner and pie shop. Their food is basic homestyle stuff - no pretty presentation or clever ingredients, just basic yummy American food. It was inexpensive and cozy, although the back "patio" room is a little too white and fluorescent-lit for my comfort. I got a piece of banana fudge pie to go as well and, if that's any indication of their other pies then I need to try some more because it was ridiculously delicious! Only 3 stars just because it isn't anything super-memorable or special. *Note how many times I used the word "basic" above...

This location usually has a younger crowd than the one on Van Nuys. It's close to my apartment (a must). The breakfast is pretty great. I usually get the eggs benedict with the cheese sauce from the welsh rarebit. If you're there for lunch the salads are huge and the pies are fantastic. Any place that offers such a tasty selection of pies automatically gets a thumbs up in my book. My inner Midwest fatty loves this place! Don't worry they have a healthy menu too. Although I couldn't tell you how that stuff tastes because I'm overindulgent and can't eat something like fish and brown rice knowing that I can get something drenched in cheese sauce. Some of the reviews say it's expensive, but I would have to disagree. Prices are on average with other cafes in the neighborhood.

Love getting pie or hot chocolate here. Their hot chocolate is pretty epic! You for sure have to try it out. The pie is ok. Personally I am not that big of a pie person....and if I am it is weird stuff like custard pie. haha. Prices are totally reasonable. It's ideal for meeting up with a friend to catch up with.

Went here for breakfast. I had the french toast and it was just OK. It was a little soggy when I got it. Sausages were barely warm. The kicker is 2.70 for a cup of coffee. And it sucked. 2.70 for a lousy cup of Folgers. You can do better than this Four N 20.

I love this restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you feel at home and the staff is incredibly friendly. They have a great selection of food and make their own pies. Great food and great service in a comfortable atmosphere, what more do you want?

When my best friend and husband lived in the area, our "can't think of what we want" restaurant would be Four N 20. It was nearby and always served up a decent meal (I preferred this location over the other one in the Valley). Their parking lot is fairly reliable but be careful as you could be blocked in sometimes, especially during the busy lunch period. There's some limited street parking. The diner is split two sections, a smaller section by the front window and more seating towards the back and restrooms. There are glass displays of desserts as you walk in. There are boards up with daily specials to go along with their extensive menu. Staff is always very nice. It's a friendly place and I wish more diners were like this. My favorite thing to get were the soups. They offered chicken barley, the only place I knew to do that (outside of a horrible one I tried at Blue Ribbon in New York). And the best corn chowder I have ever had. I have been on a quest for corn chowder ever since but no one else compares. Breakfast isn't too shabby and sometimes we'd stop in later at night for dessert. But my absolute favorite moment was when I walked in to see most of the crew and cast of Star Trek: Enterprise including Scott Bakula. I have loved this man since Quantum Leap so I was internally going nuts. But being a true LA native, I didn't want to bother him so I just smiled at him when I walked by. He gave me the most gorgeous smile and wink. Someone picked me up off the ground and led me away.

Very solid diner stuff. The breakfast has one of my faves - burger patty and eggs with hash browns, and they make it PERFECT. I like the Sherman Oaks one better, but the food's consistent at both.

We went here for breakfast last weekend and it was ok. Nothing GREAT, but not bad. They do give large portions. The service was great. It is a home like atomsphere. The blueberry bread that everyone is talking about is just ok. I was expecting something way better because the hype. But it was just ok. Nothing to lose sleep over. The prices are ok. A lot of things on the menu under $7 We will give it another try but maybe go to the location in Sherman Oaks, it is closer to our house.

I am not sure any birds will be singing about kings when you come here, but if you aren't singing about the tasty pies by the time you leave, you have no soul. Great place for a casual breakfast, and a pretty good idea for a soup/salad/ sandwich/ veggie or "flame" soy burger lunch or late night snack (psst. hey, you. vegetarian chili eater. try the "chili size"- a garden burger topped with veg chili. just take some beano and eat one. you'll thank me later). I trudge all the way out here to the valley whenever I have a hankering for some strawberry rhubarb pie. Most of the other fruit & cream pies deserve singing praises, too. The cookies? Not so much. The guy who mans the counter is a delight. He always keeps me entertained with some funny anecdote or other. Simply put, this is a down home charming place that's shielded from all that is pretentious, yet still serves soy products.

On a whim, stopped in for a hearty dinner. I had the Pasadena pot roast special. They had around 6 specials which is nice. Lots of food that was described by the waitress as something homey your grandmother would make. But my grandmother made things like rice porridge and stir fry pork with green beans. So I really like getting a nice American home cooked meal because I also would never actually make it myself. The food was true to what I expected--a hearty meal. The food came out really quickly. I had the tortilla soup as well. It was the best I've ever had. Flavorful with nice crunchy tortilla chips in soup with just enough melted cheese and avocado. The potroast came with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. It was rather ordinary but filling. Also came with a choice of bread. The corn bread was tasty and came with a sweet butter. Hubs got a pepper steak that was decent--a little on the chewy side but cooked to the proper medium rare. His minestroganoff(minestrone with pasta) was very ordinary. Service was awesome. The most unpretentious you can get. Friendly and fast.

Four N 20 rules! But I don't come here as often as I used to because my friend and co-worker who enjoyed this spot with me has moved on to another job. Their tortilla soup is pretty good and I enjoyed the blackened salmon plate when I was on my salmon kick for a while. I like the tuna melt sandwich too and their hot chocolate. Parking sucks once in a great while. There was an old lady who stared at me for the duration of my lunch one time while my co-workers had their backs to her (lucky me!). Wasn't sure if she was admiring me or what, maybe she's never seen a brown girl before but it was weird. We made eye contact at one point and she kept on smiling and didn't blink. Um, awkwarrrrd! Oh by the way there's a lot of old people that frequent this joint.

I just love this place. It's the friendliest staff of any restaurant in L.A, the food is consistent and the menu is enormous! Plus they're open late, a major bonus for late-night dinners. The pies are to-die for. Basically, whatever you're in the mood for, they have it. Plenty of vegetarian options to keep me happy. There is nothing pretentious about this place whatsoever. It's like a country cafe in a small town that was plopped down in the valley. And it's damn good.

This place is so small town trucker's diner feeling. And the food is just as small town and trucker good! Came here for breakfast after a late night and had the Texas Scramble. It was great as leftovers the next day warmed up with some Tapatio. Just saying. Ya I'll definitely go here again. xxx C

Breakfast. I like breakfast. We get lunch take out at work, and even though my egg scramble is usually cold by the time it gets to me, it's still yummy! The corn bread is big, fluffy, and delicious. It's more like cake, and anything like cake is good in my book!

Disgusting. I had seen this place for years and had always wanted to stop in. We finally had the chance today. To bad for us. The place is dark, dingy and in a serious need for a bulldozer to take this place down. I have not been able to eat again today. After this food experience I just can`t bear to think about eating again. I had the roast beef melt with chiles, my husband had the grilled bacon tomato and cheese (he wanted a BLT but they did not have such a thing?) and my son had a grilled cheese with fries. It was just awful. Disgusting.

I used to pass this place every morning to work and every afternoon from work and always said: I need to try that place cause 1) PIE and 2) it's name. I went today for dessert and had the boysenberry with vanilla ice cream, my friend had the fresh peach pie with whipped cream and my lil sister had the coconut cream pie... All of which were so tasty! I even ate some peach with my boysenberry and a wonderful explosion of flavors made my mouth very very happy :) Peaches were so sweet! You must try now since it's in season (Summer!)

Four N 20 is the breakfast joint my NoHo friends and I used to go to all the time! I looooooove their blueberry bread (muffin?) and their breakfast specials. We would go all out for breakfast (well at brunch time) and get coffee, OJ, entre, and bread. SO YUMM!!! The blueberry bread with the apple cinnamon? butter was my fave. Yes it's not the healthiest choice on the menu but it's so darn good. I usually get their ham steak, eggs over easy, and the sides (hash). Also, this is the first place I ever tried the spinach & feta omelet. Still one of the best; if not the best! Coffee is always good which I get with milk, not cream. Put two splendas in my coffee, give me some OJ, my food, and good conversations with my friends and THAT'S HOW YOU START OFF A LATE DAY ON SATURDAY/SUNDAY! :D The restaurant is less an a mile from my friend's place (now they moved) and so we would wake up, chill, and walk right over. After eating all the goodness, we would walk back in the beautiful weather to calm the belly a bit. Good times!

Four N 20 is good stuff. Greasy spoon kinda diner food. Breakfast is always good, but their menu is pretty substantial and it covers the gamut. They're quick too usually. The interior leaves a lot to be desired and parking is a bitch(particularly during lunch), but if you can get past that, it's worth the trip. I recommend pigs in a blanket...mmmmmm

I've been going to this cafe since I was one 1/2 yrs old. I know the owner and family. It's a Studio City local hang out (with good food). Ha ha ha. It's all about the breakfast though. Try the Blueberry Bread with the cinnamon butter. Oh yeah...

Simply put, this is my favorite diner style establishment in my neighborhood. Sure beats Denny's, Dupar's, or Norm's any day. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is always pretty good. I have yet to have anything bad there but I do prefer ordering The Lumberjack when it's breakfast. The Californian when it's a sandwich for lunch kinda deal. For dinner....the Tortilla Soup is always involved and you can't do no wrong there.

I found out about this place from my 83 year old boss, and I gotta say it fits him perfectly. The decor is cute in an out of date sort of way, but it's all about their food. I've enjoyed their strawberry milkshake (so delicious and actually full of berries) and the tuna melt. This place is usually really busy at lunch time, when it's full of its regulars and parking is limited in their tiny lot but I definatly encourage you to try it out, and to make sure and save room for a big piece of pie.

Great food. Great coffee. Great service. At home atmosphere. I went for breakfast and was so impressed. Definitely going on my favorites list.

Wow, the attitude from the staff was terrible. Not dog friendly either. I said the hell with them, ate somewhere else. You'll never get my money!

I like this place and I'll tell you why. They offer you a quick reasonable priced breakfast and that is all I ask for. The food was good enough not the most outstanding, but it was quick easy and pleasant.

This is a cute little spot that literally is two block from my house. But in six years, I've only been there three times. I think the breakfast is okay, but there's nothing extraordinary about it. I'd go there in a pinch in a heartbeat, but I usually prefer something with a bit more of a twist.

I was excited to try the Four n 20 after reading reviews here on Yelp. My bf and I tried it out this morning so I could take advantage of the Sunday brunch. I love me some Mimosas! The food was good, but not great. Parking was a bit tough (on the weekend for brunch) but we live close and my bf loved his meal, so I'd definitely like to go back and try again.

I can stress enough how appalling this place was. When I saw our waiter, a middle aged man in a beat up old ripped t-shirt something told me I should order on the safe side. Something deep fried. Can't screw that up, right? WRONG!!! I got the fried shrimp and they were burned to a crisp. But it had taken so incredibly long for the food to come out that I didn't send it back. I seriously wondered if there was something wrong with our servers eyesight. So I eat maybe a few bites and noticed there was a puddle of grease on my plate from the food. Even the lemon they put on my plate was spoiled. My boif, had something that was equally horrible. The last thing I wanted to do was stick around for a piece of pie. Yuck yuck yuck!!! Go to Marie Calendar's instead! At least MC's is sanitary.

Adequate food at best. The breakfasts are completely ordinary and dull. And it's so close to Dupar's on Ventura... if you're in the mood for a decent coffee shop meal and some great pie, for God's sake go there instead.

Truth be told, I'm easily impressed when it comes to breakfast food as it's harder to screw up in comparison to any other given genre of food. That preface, however, should not discount in the least the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast I had here Saturday morning. While there, I totally made a game time decision and ordered one of the specials, the enchilada omelette with egg whites. I resisted the temptation of potatoes and got the fruit instead. I can't even remember what the dude got because I was so enraptured with my food once it came out (and it came out fast!). Wait, I think it was something healthy and involving spinach or maybe asparagus, possibly both. My omelette was so hearty and overflowing with gooey awesomeness. The total opposite of a skimpy, wimpy omelette. Just the right amount and combination of sauces, guac, sour cream, cheese and tortilla chips. Truly an original egg dish concoction. My only regret is that I wish I hungrier and/or more hungover (even though I don't really get hungover) so I could have enjoyed it more. And the deliciousness didn't stop there, date insisted on getting pie and he let me choose between peach and strawberry. I was afraid the strawberry would be too sweet so I screamed "PEACH!" When it came out, it looked like an effin masterpiece. It was fresher than fresh and I wouldn't be surprised if the whip cream was real, fresh whip cream as opposed to being out of a can. In fact, we bet that it was. In short, I think I found a new usual. Only conceivable complaint I have is that the coffee was meh.

I have been here several times over the years and after I leave, I always remember why I don't go more often. The food is merely adequate. Tonight I had a special of Teriyaki Tri-tip (13.50), baked potato, veggies and blueberry bread. The tri-tip was chewy and luke warm, the veggies way undercooked with nothing on them and the blueberry bread was dry. It was served with cinammon butter which totally overpowered the blueberries. Another person in my party had the baked chicken which he said was very dry and a piece of garlic toast that only had a dab of garlic/butter right in the very center of the bread. They have tiny iced tea glasses so they're constantly having to come back and refill them. It looks as though they haven't redecorated the restaurant since the 60's. This place is very close to where I live, I wish it were better. Frankly, Dupars and even IHOP is better.

As many other reviews state, taken for the diner/coffee shop that is is, all aspects- food, service, quality...are all ok to good at best. Nothing great...nothing terrible, either.

we went for breakfast. the food was ok and the service was great. i had the fresh peach pie... but honestly, i like the fresh peach pie at marie callendars more. husband had the corn beef hash and was not impressed. the corn beef hash was undercooked. we probably won't come back here again... there are plenty of other good places to eat.

When I'm feeling moody, hungry, depressed, deprived of goodness and comfort...Four N 20 is my place. I have never been disappointed by 4n20, this is seriously the best diner. The food isn't like nasty, Norm's diner food...it's actually REALLY good. After you eat their food you don't feel like running to the bathroom to force yourself to puke it out...you want to sit back, smile and let out a nice loud belch. I always order a root beer float with chocolate ice cream when I go, no matter what time of day it is and GOD DAMN it's flippin tasty. Their Veggie burgers are also really good, especially the black bean veggie burger. To top it off, the service is seriously the best. they have a sign that says we offer the best service or something like that and it's so damn true. Every time I've had a different waitress and they've all be super sweet and attentive. The only downside to this place is that it closes at 11 pm, which maybe the reason why the food isn't shitty like most 24 hour diners.

LIttle bit expensive! My breakfast combo cost 5.50 and a side of hashbrowns was the same amount!

I started coming to the original Four N 20 location (2 doors down from its current NoHo location) back in the early 1970s. It was always a happy bonding experience with my late father; we both shared a love of pies. I haven't lived in L.A. since 1983 but do go back for visits. Last weekend was the second or third time I returned in many years. I found the service prompt and friendly and the food great. I remembered how good the banana fudge pie was and placed my hopeful order. I was not disappointed; it was just as yummy as when I was a teen and the taste seemed to hold magical memories of visits with Dad. I talked to the very kind and welcoming owner (?) with white hair; glad he appreciated my memories. As another reviewer said, "It's a coffee shop", so don't expect fine dining. Yes, it is. It's also true that the NoHo shop has parking challenges, but the wait staff said you can also park in the parking lot a couple buildings down. But more than anything, this pie shop is a memory maker. I made some more when I met my high school pals for pie last weekend. Patronize this shop all you can; I want it to live longer and prosper. BTW, the DC-metro area has nothing like pie shops, and I miss them so much. Be happy you have them, L.A.

I have to agree with Stephy on this one...tastiness! The old high school goth in me likes the black bird theme and it's all over the place here. It's comfy and cozy and I could have just laid down for a nap after my welsh rarebit...always wondered wtf that was and now I know. Mmm...cheese sauce. I just wished it tasted more like cheese, but I can't complain too much. The wait staff rocked, lots of smiles and attention when our coffee got low (which always bugs me when I run out of coffee dammit!). My fella got the lumberjack which was (he's reading over my shoulder and will hate that I use this term) uber yummy. Go here and enjoy! The menu is pretty decent with lots of choices and my husband just said he's excited about the champagne breakfast they have on Sundays. So! We must go again! Yay!!

I come here just for their hot chocolate!! It is so good! The staff is very nice, and the place is very well kept. The decor is out dated but that has nothing to do with the quality of their food! In short, its excellent.

Basic coffee shop food well prepared. Everything tastes freshly made and the pies rock. Decor is worn out, a little dirty and tacky, but considering it's just a neighborhood "joint' all of that is forgiven. Don't go expecting anything other than a delicious sandwich and piece of pie.

I gotta say, I like the Sherman Oaks one better. Or maybe it was the time of day/night I visited...I came here on Saturday night at around 10:45pm and it just looked abandoned. I almost wanted to walk out since I had suggested it but I felt bound to my choice. I had the tortilla soup, was pretty good actually. I liked the amount of cheese in it and the fact there were actual chunks of avocado. Hello? Who doesn't love avocado????!!!! My husband had the bacon and eggs. He didn't like his hash browns and the toast was on the stale side. I liked my soup but I wish we had gone to Bob's Big Boy instead. I guess I need some lively ambiance and that place is always crawling with all sorts of crowds.

After a long night of drinking (because eh really what else is there to do in this part of town) Four N 20 really made my morning. And when I say morning I mean sometime mid afternoon. But at this place breakfast was still available. I ordered myself some sort of vegetarian omelet or scramble or something and it was lovely. The place was had the diner-ie appeal...I think. But the service, the service was great, of what I can recollect...ah maybe this should be the last time I go somewhere with that morning hazy, slightly still buzzed feeling.

Damn there's a lot of cheese in my omelet! So much that my boyfriend took some a bunch of pictures of me eating it. But it was damn good. As was the cornbread. Mmmmm! I've only had breakfast here and I've always loved it. Not the healthiest food in the world, but that could be because I need cheese in order to live. Must try the cornbread!

Stopped by tonight for some after-dinner pie. I had the pumpkin and the hubby had the banana cream pie. It's a cool spot if you're looking for diner-style fixins. The pumpkin pie was smooth, but not mushy, and had a nice spice aftertaste. The banana cream pie was your banana custard variation with slices of bananas (not whole pieces like House of Pies), and traditionally topped with whipped cream and sliced almonds. Great place. I'm looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu.

I liked this place, they had a lot of vegetarian choices. It's hard to find American food with vegetarian plates. We will definitely be coming back here, especially for breakfast.

I was craving some diner food, particularly a club sandwich, and Four N 20 was a huge let down. Apart from the lemonade, Four N 20 was very subpar. I got the club sandwich, which was supposed to be the most popular item on the sandwich menu. It's probably the most ordered because club sandwiches in general, but this was one of the worst club sandwiches I've had.I was so hungry but I only could stomach two of the four slices. It tasted like I was mainly eating bread and lettuce. The bread was cold and chewy, and the sandwich was dry. The fries were even worse. The texture felt like I was eating air. And the flavor didn't even taste like they were fries. The prices were also high, I paid about 12 dollars for the club and another 2 something for the lemonade. I wanted to eat it all or take it home to get my money's worth, but it was not worth it in the end, and turned down a box when the server offered. I'd say save your money for another place if you're looking for diner food... or just a decent meal.

Dear Classic Breakfast Eaters- This is the place for you. If you are looking for a big plate of breakfast and a good cup of coffee with a small hometown atmosphere and great service, please come here. You will not be disappointed. I legitimately felt like I was back home in this place. From the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out everyone who worked there treated us so well!! And the food - I got the lumberjack breakfast and was 110% satisfied. Exactly what I wanted this morning. Anyways, this is my new favorite breakfast spot... And I feel like I'll become a regular!! PS- they have vanilla creamer for your coffee which always makes me happy. And we left with an apple pie which is never a bad thing. YUM YUM YUM.

I was looking for a little diner close to my office and I think I found the place. It's small and cozy. The staff is real nice and friendly and very attentive. They have like a separate section in the back which is pretty cool if u wanna be away from the crowd. I chose to sit in the back. They have a pretty large menu and some good healthy meal choices as well. I'm not a coffee person but there coffee is pretty darn good. I tried the Veggie Scramble and it was okay. Home Fries were a bit dry and spicy. I had a side of Cornbread and it was a bit sweet for me. The only thing I really didn't like was that it smells like cigarettes in the back room area. The employee's do go back there and take there break and there's a door that goes out to the parking lot. So when there smoking that smell lingers in :( Other than that I really liked the place and will be back.

Love this place. The food is great, the people are really nice, use fresh ingredients in their food. Take care for me. If you go during the week, ask for James. Hes good peeps. If you go on Saturday ask for Mary. She's awesome! All of the waiters and waitresses are great, but Mary is the fav! Great food, good people. Great place!

Awesome restaurant with a ton of different food options. I went for breakfast and enjoyed the omelette. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was excellent. I have heard from others that they have incredible pies, though I didn't try them.

This is a good and personable small chain of coffee shops. The atmosphere and food are very good and their pies are excellent. Their hamburgers are way above average. The service and attention to customers by the whole staff makes you feel welcome. There are meal and pie specials that change regularly. The Laurel Canyon Four N' 20 is a great place to take my Mom or anytime or I am looking for a simple, unpretentious meal.

Been here twice, once for breakfast n another time to pick up a couple of pies. Breakfast was ok.., I think! I don't remember it., so I know it wasn't great, but I definitely would of remembered if it was horrible. Obviously it left no impression. There for it was OKAY! Now the pies, ooohhh lala, I ordered a banana cream pie so yummy., n the apple pie, perfection! Prices were reasonable, will definitely be back for the pies.! Breakfast?!?! Mmmmm.... Probably NOT!

My review is only for their breakfast as I did not have their pies or lunch and dinner menu. Maybe it was just the items I got, but frankly I was not that impressed with this place given the amount of highly rated reviews. I did dig the homey diner vibe when I first entered. It definitely made me feel like I was transformed to somewhere in the heartland of America. The food is really just so-so. Actually, I'd say below average. I got their power scramble. While the portions were huge (which is a plus), the taste is just downright bland. I didn't get any flavors from any of the ingredients. I also got a side of corned beef hash. While the actual corned beef is the cheap kind right out of a can which I really like, for $5, you'd expect them to make it fresh themselves. The coffee is also just your average diner coffee, kind of watered down. I did get a good service so that kind of made the experience pleasant. Overall, I was not impressed with the food (2.5 stars). It was actually below average but since I liked the portions and service, I bumped up a half star. I'm not sure I'll make it back here again for breakfast. Maybe I'll try a slice of their pie here.

I was pretty excited about going to a traditional diner with a good overall yelp rating. I'm tired of going to your over-priced sub par diners such as Du-par's, Patys, Bob's Big Boy, or Good Neighbor and fancy joint such as Hugo's with healthy items like kale and quinoa scramble to me just does not feel like a diner. I've been searching hard to find a mom and pop joint with knock your socks off kind of comfort food and thought this could be it. I hope the stellar rating wasn't just on the pies, because I have to admit that I didn't try any pies so I could be wrong. As far as the food, my egg scramble were soggy/watery and over-cooked (not sure how that could be achieved). It was also as bland as you can get. Now I'm not much of a chef, but I do expect my eggs at a diner to be way better than my home cooking. Perhaps I tried the wrong items, but one would think it's not asking too much to expect a diner to have excellent egg dishes.

This is my old stand by diner when all has closed in the neighborhood or a quick breakfast. Today I had to smog my vehicle and run errands-I was much too tired to make it anyplace else so I stopped at this location. Jamie was my waiter-such a nice guy, very thoughtful and anticipates your wants without having to flag him down. Because I was handling business via text messages to my plumber for a faulty pressure regulator, Jamie asked if he could reheat my food which I thought was awesome and as I said, very thoughtful. When i finished, apparently Jamie clocked out and another waiter came to my table-he picked up my plate with his bare thumb in my potatoes, then asked if he could remove my plate. Of course this upset me as I was taking my leftovers home as I never finish a complete meal and wanted to leave room for their chocolate cream pie. Then when I advised the waiter that I intended on taking it home and perhaps he should wait for my answer before picking up the plate and placing his thumb in my potatoes, he returned to my table with a to go container, again with his hands on the inside...I watched this guy picking up plates from the cooks station doing the very thing I complained about all the while he handled plates, menus and checks and never washed his hands. When it was obvious to him that I couldn't help but to observe his repeated actions, he would then place his thumb from the food to under the plate. The Manager whom is very understanding quickly had the cook remake the leftovers. The food was cooked exactly as I requested, I ordered the NY steak and eggs with a bagel, coffee and chocolate cream pie. The cooks were spot on. Jamie is always a pleasure to deal with and I thank you for being so considerate. Until I see you again! I wish they would make the back of the restaurant to a full patio so I could have brought my Andi Padi! And special thanks to the manager for understanding my concern.

My new fav breakfast spot. I can't believe I haven't been here before. After my boyfriend telling me it's amazing every time we drove by, we finally just stopped, and I'm so glad we did. First of all the mimosas are inexpensive....and that's important ;-) I had the Wild Rarebit- and I inhaled it. I recommend getting it with poached eggs! I finished mine before my boyfriend finished his, and then of course I had a bite of his Benedict. Amazing. I can't wait to go back and try some of their pies! The strawberry-rhubarb!

Clean place with nice employees. Parking beside the place. Pancakes light, fluffy and tasty. They have real butter and good syrup. Bacon tasty, a little overcooked. Very tasty and fluffy scrambled egg. Coffee okay. Skip the blueberry bread! Good breakfast place that serves all day.

This place is really groovy! it's like a spot that has been frozen in time back to the 70's. It's clearly owned by some hippies that know good food & like their guests to feel comfortable. I dug it. Came for breakfast on a Saturday had this super chill friendly waitress. I wasn't sure what to order and she was more than helpful giving some direction on favorites and what she liked on the menu. She said the the Tortilla soup was the BEST she has ever had, has never been as happy with it anywhere else. With a description like that how could you not be curious??? I WAS and went for it!!! SHE WAS NOT LYING. This soup is BEYOND, its brothy yet filled with chunky deliciousness. the onions through out really give great flavor, the avocado bits are so good too. This is Hands down the BEST Tortilla soup you will find in the Valley. I had the Four n 20 morning ($7.95) which was French toast, sausage or bacon and eggs. This was solid. She told us to try the pies, I'm not gona lie they weren't as great as I thought they were going to be. We had boysenberry, banana fudge & coconut cream. Banana Fudge was the winner but I wouldn't order it again. But that's ok I'll just stick to food at this gin joint. I came tonight since it was a monsoon outside, the soup sounded Like what the Dr ordered. I got their Chicken sandwich sans mayo, 1,000 island on side with bacon & guacamole as my 2 toppings with tortilla soup as my side $11.25 (DEAL). Had a different waitress this time, she was just a nice actually maybe even nicer... Imagine! I even ordered a side pancake ($2.25) which was amaze-balls. My brother got their cornbread which is HEAVENLY, served with cinnamon butter and the cornbread is almost cake consistency... I forgot this was dinner for a minute (Whoopsies). If you are looking for delicious food, neighborhood relaxed feel atmosphere and reasonable prices. They even have a fitness/health minded menu I will try next time. You should definitely check this groovy spot out! Yelp_It_Forward.

You won't get a bad meal here. Soups, daily specials and pies are the best, but everything on the menu is good. This is a great place for weight lifters or anyone who's big on protein/avoiding carbs. The menu has lots of low-carb high protein options.

Solid diner in the Valley. Private lot to park in, easy to get seated, menu is diverse and the staff is friendly and attentive. I popped in late today with some friends--one person had their chili which she always raves about, I had tortilla soup and a salad, and two other guests had desserts. Everything was good. I thought the prices were slightly high but I was happy with what I got. They certainly weren't skimping on the portions.

This review is based solely on the breakfasts. I've frequented this place many times for their breakfasts and have never been disappointed. Here's what to expect if you plan on dining here: #1 - The parking lot is way too small and narrow. The lot next to the restaurant can fit several cars but since they share the parking space with the adjacent building, you can't park on the right side (you'll know it when you see it). Your best bet is to park at Gelson's across the street and then make the short trek over. #2 - The decor is....homely, to say it in a nice way. It's kind of like walking into your grandma's dining room. Not that big a of a deal, but don't expect it to look like IHOP or Denny's. #3 - The staff is friendly and fast. Once you're seated, they'll take your order and it won't take less than ten minutes to get your food. Definitely quicker than at IHOP. #4 - The special menu. There's a special menu written on the markerboard near the entrance that features some delicious breakfast and dinner dishes, so don't skip out on that one! I'll be honest and say that I only come to Four N 20 for one thing: the Spicy Sausage breakfast plate. It's a hotdog/sausage split in half that has chopped jalapenos inside with eggs (cooked any way you want), hashbrowns and toast. Not the most upscale breakfast meal but I love it. My only gripe with this dish is that they only serve ONE sausage with the dish! My main reason for bumping off a star from the rating is that the prices can be a tad high. I mean, $4 for a non-refillable glass of orange juice and $11 for one piece of sausage in my plate can be steep. Other than that, this place is one of my favorite breakfast places to go on the weekends. It may not be upscale but I'd rather go here than IHOP.

This is a good, quick and affordable breakfast/brunch option. It is a simple, small place. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. I ordered the Spicy Sausage & Eggs. I also ordered Corn Bread as one of our friends strongly recommended the baked goods. The spicy sausage had good flavor and was quite filling. You definitely get your money worth. The hash browns were very good as well. They are not good for you, but it was worth it. The corn bread was very good. It was moist and flavorful. We do not come out to this part of town much, but if we do we will come back to try more food.

Maybe I went on an off day but I thought the food and the pie were meh. I got the so called famous chicken tortilla soup. It was alright but not amazing...not even really good. I also got a sandwich and found it to be bland & forgettable. In fact, I can't even recall what type of sandwich it was...I want to say a turkey with green chile. Pie was also disappointing. I think I let the reviews hype up my expectations. Service, on the other hand, was 5 stars ! The server who helped me was sweet.

Walked in and the smell of this place totally grossed me out, add to that the disgusting dirty old carpeting, the dirty dusty popcorn ceiling which looked mildewed and the old shelving piled with fake plants and other dust catchers and I refused to eat. My mom did order an omelette and was unimpressed especially at the high price. Service was friendly however hence the one star.

From the chili, to the Chinese chicken salad, to the pork chop breakfast, steak and egg breakfast, the juice sized burger, French fries, onion rings, smoothies, milkshakes , and the mouth watering pies...this is a place you will keep coming back to. Very impressed with staff but the quality of the food is what keeps me coming back and always trying to bring new people to discover this place.

Started off thinking healthy with a hike at Fryman Park off Laurel Canyon, felt great! As I'm driving home I see the "Four n 20" banner with the pie of the month, a fudge banana & peanut butter pie, I have zero will power, stopped in for a slice and it was heaven-no regrets!

Went there for brunch with my boyfriend (who is a big hungry guy) and ordered the lumberjack breakfast and a side of hash browns. Now this is the second time we have come here for breakfast and so far I have not one bad thing to say. The servers are all friendly and wonderful, they have someone constantly around refilling your coffee and getting you whatever you need like ninjas. After the end of a busy run he comes out to the dining room to check on how it's all going. The ambiance feels like a classic family country diner and the menu is pretty classic. I work late nights and sometimes wake up at 3pm wanting breakfast, The Four N 20 has breakfast all day. Brilliant, just brilliant. Can't wait to try their pies and the rest of their menu!

I am passionate about pie. So passionate that when I heard a Baker's Square was closing, there was a cry of anguish so loud that people asked me who died. "My pie children," I answered. I am damn serious about my pie. This place did things with peach pie I didn't know could happen. Their iced tea is unsweetened (and gave me a weird look when I specified unsweetened - as if there was any other kind). Their food is thoroughly good. It's the perfect diner. There are even sassy waitresses. SASSY. Their breakfast, their dinner, their lunch...this place is my favorite part about moving to NoHo! PIE!!!!!!!!!

LOVE this place, my boyfriend and I go here all the time. Everything on the menu is good or excellent, and the pies are all worth trying (and there's about 20... no, 24 of them). Love the waitstaff and love the quiet vibe. We'll be regulars unless we leave LA.

I haven't had anything that I've disliked at Four N 20. My favorites are the blueberry bread (whatever you do, order it, it's warm, fluffy, fresh, and delicious) and tortilla soup. Service is hit or miss, but that doesn't really bother me.

This place is great. Great food, great people, great ambiance. If you're ok with a hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant, then this place is right for you! Super gay-friendly. I felt right at home.

This place was the strangest spot ever. I was waiting for a hidden camera to pop out. The food was a 3. Service was 2 but the show we got was a 5!! Some dude meet his catfish Internet love and made her cry at the table near us. The people in there seemed loud and had no respect , on cell phones. Some man used the restroom and left the door open right outside our table ( literally feet away) it was so gross... dirty!!! Sticky and greasy creamers, salt and pepper, and menus. Garbage on floor. SMH go for show but not the food.

I absolutely frickin love this spot. Makes me feel like I am back in the Midwest. It's super casual and the waitstaff and bussers are always in good spirits and very sincere. Down home cooking with reasonable prices. Make sure and get their chicken tortilla soup. Has avocado in it and tastes like your mother would make. Also they have this blueberry muffinbread thing that is a side option that coms with cinnamon honey butter that is to die for. Probably one of my favorite tasting sides of all time. The butter is what makes it truly epic. YOU MUST TRY IT! Also have had the "create your own burgers" which were better than expected as well as the "create your own omelette" which was huge and tasted great. Yes the bathroom is very tiny, and the decor is super old and could use an update but I think that's part of it's charm. I go for the awesome service and great home-cooked tasting meals. ...Did I mention that blueberry bread side with the cinnamon honey butter yet!? I might just have to take a drive back to valley in rush hour from Brentwood just to get my fill LOL ;-)

Can you go wrong with pie? Never! Sweet potato pie was seasonal but delicious! ! Such a quaint adorable place. I came because of the name originally lol but I'll return for the pie. Thanks guys!

Staff was great! Food is horrible! I'm talking down to the quality of the watered down juice. And they charge $4.95 if you need to use an extra plate! I will not be repeating this journey. ¡No bueno!

Regular Food - 3 stars Pies - 5 stars! I have eaten meals at Four N 20 twice. Both times the food was okay. Not good, not bad, just okay. But here's the thing. You know when strawberries are in season and restaurants make fresh strawberry pie? Well, Four N 20 does the same thing only with peaches when they are in season and it is frickin' amazing! This isn't a baked peach pie, this is ripe and fresh peaches, lightly glazed and in a crust with whipped cream, and it is to die for! I've had other pies there too which were good (although a friend did say one of the cream pies they had once was bad), but the fresh peach pie is incredible. It's only available when peaches are in season, so you have to keep your eyes open for it, but when it is available you have to get it. I also had pumpkin pie there once which was very good as was a chocolate something pie I tried. But did I mention the fresh peach pie?!?!? Get it!!!

I've been here many times, but regrettably I've really only had one thing here, and I'm basing my entire review on this one item: the pie. My friend introduced me to this place years back when she told me that this place has the greatest chocolate cream pie she's ever tasted. And when I tried it, she was right. The cream itself has a texture that's a lot like pudding. It's smooth and creamy, and it tastes a lot like hot fudge. It's absolutely glorious. The environment is also very nice. It's got a good home feel to it, and the staff are very friendly. One day, I'll get the chance to try the rest of the food, and when I do, I'll come back for another review. So for the pie, the environment, and the service, it's an easy 5/5 for me.

So their pie is amazing but I would suggest taking it to go. The waitresses were screaming at each other, dropping stuff and straight up inappropriate. There is a guy that worked here last time that was very pleasant but this time was no bueno. The food is mediocre at best. If you simply want a coffee and pie it's fine, but dinner/lunch is nothing special... At all. It's a cute little place but they really need to upgrade on the waitresses and dinner/lunch food quality.

I have been here several times because a dear friend loves it...but I have never thought it was great. We had breakfast here yesterday and once again my review is "meh" at best! Prices are high for mediocre quality, restaurant is old and news updating (and the bathroom is really vile), and it always is just blah. Bacon & eggs $9.75 for just okay. Lunch and dinner just okay. I may be alone in this, but keep on moving!

One of those special cool spots in the valley, my friend introduced me and we have so much fun here, amazing staff, delicious food and the salmon with that spinach and mushrooms was simply wow! I had no idea they specialize in pies, wow.. the lemon meringue pie, yes, fluffy top yes.... I can't wait to visit my friend and we go here, it's a casual spot with an old decor, however the staff is so very cool and that you become friends with them when you are a regular and how special is that....

For the Pie only...the Banana & Coconut Creme are the best anywhere....Cant speak to the other menu food...only had pie and been getting it for 30 years when in the valley!!!!

Love, love, love the blueberry bread and whipped butter! Must have! I ordered the Texas scramble and my mom the veggie omelette. Service was excellent, Tony is adorable...food was good too. I'll order pancakes next time, because we will go back.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. I always forget it's a great option for some good down home cooking. It's tucked away under the freeway and has their own FREE parking lot! PROS: The blackened chicken sandwich is awesome, full of flavor and sloppy (like a good sandwich should be). The blueberry bread with maple butter is the bomb, light and fluffy. Breakfast never fails to cure the Sunday morning blues. If you like pies, they have plenty. Banana creme, yes. And the chicken tortilla soup is one of the best I've ever had. Everyone is always nice. CONS: They are in serious need of a makeover. The Decor is "homey" and it feels like you've walked into 1975. It would be cool if it was deliberate, but it's just old. I do appreciate the whiteboard with handwritten specials. Other than that, it's good food for a decent price. I suggest doing takeout, but if you don't mind sitting in an old restaurant surrounded by older people, you will get a good meal with a smile. I love it here.

I have only had pies from here and by far my favorite is the banana cream! A must try if you like banana cream pies!

Here is my problem. I've gotten in the habit of finding a casual neighborhood joint that I like, go there 2-3 times a week (loner-style) until I'm completely sick of it, and then on the next place. I have no idea why I do this. Well right now, I'm on my Four n 20 kick. This place rocks but you gotta appreciate it for what it is...a random, no frills neighborhood diner. I must admit, although I'm not a toker, I was immediate drawn to this joint b/c of the name. Now I know that I'm 29 going on 12 b/c I don't think the double entendre was intentional. Anyhow, I love beef but Four n 20's turkey burgers are the best. The patty is so juicy and well seasoned. I usually get it topped with swiss cheese and mushrooms or green chile then douse their accompanying fries in Tabasco sauce and ranch dressing b/c I'm nasty like that. Alas, I can not give a review of Four n 20 without mentioning their pies. Sometimes I just stop by for a cup of coffee and a hardy slice (this ain't a weight watcher's sliver) of warmed strawberry rhubarb pie (banana fudge / apple / pumpkin / strawberry) with a dollop of whip cream. It's my perfect afternoon treat / unhealthy dinner substitute. I've been the Van Nuys and Valley Village locations and while both are fine, I must admit that I prefer the latter simply b/c the interior is a mismatched, quirky, hot mess (I mean that in the best of ways) and brighter than VN. Furthermore, service is great at both restaurants but the wait staff at Valley Village are especially friendly and attentive. So if you happen to stop by Four n 20 this month and see a four-eyed brunette inhaling a burger and pie by her lonesome, that would be yours truly. No autographs please.

Okay. I just left this place after having dinner there, and I have many thoughts. Very sweet place, with a Midwestern vibe. I did try the tortilla soup which was amazing. I had their "Health Nuts" (no joke on the name) sandwich, which consisted of sprouts, tomato, avocado, two kinds of cheese on wheat bread; however it was coated with mayonnaise and so sloppy that I could only manage to choke down half of it so as not to feel too rude. I feel like I may have made the wrong selection at a place that probably serves up a great breakfast, and so I would go back and try it again. Also I would absolutely go back and have a big bowl of tortilla soup. One star for excellent service, one for delicious tortilla soup, and one for hilarious ambiance.

I had a veggie club sandwich and soup which were not bad, but a a little pricey for their size. Perhaps I have unrealistic expectations of diner food pricing, and that of most restaurant food in general. But the portions seemed a little skimpy for classic diner food. At the end of meal, I was quite angry and shocked at the slice of pie I had, since it lacked real whipped cream for its topping. It was Cool Whip or some sort of non-dairy cousin. I couldn't believe they would advertise their pies, and that their pies would be well-liked, having this fake gooey topping like a cafeteria style-pie. Perhaps they've just kept to their traditional style of baking, as it was since their inception. There is a historic/ landmark and neighborly, homey feel to this diner, and you can almost feel the energy imprint from all the people that have been through its doors. I would come back for the food, and maybe to have another crack at the pie -- but my partner-in-food-crime was so disgusted by the dessert that I may never have a dining companion there again. I give three stars for the food but one star for the pie-- 2 1/2 stars as an average.

This is one of those "because of yelp" places :-) Excellent service for a coffee shop / pie place. Service wise much better than DuPars. The food is standard, good quality coffee shop fare, and they have a nice selection of healthy items on their menu for breakfast as well. I had pigs in blanket - yummay. Not exactly healthy heh. Their banana fudge pie is wonderful, great pie crust. Why order 1 piece for $5 when you can get the whole pie for around $10?

I haven't reviewed this place because I think I was misspelling it or something. This is where the guys and I go when we've had a long night and one of us has one in Texas Hold 'Em the night before. We'll take the winner out for breakfast. I love this place!! It's soooo good... and I have to admit, their "lite" options are terrific. Why, why why why...would ANYONE go to Denny's or Ihop when there's places like this around.... WHY?! Good looking out Eurie! I *heart" Four N 20 too!!

Four N 20 blackbirds baked in a pie would probably taste pretty gross, but thankfully they don't serve that here. I'm giving them five stars almost based on the the fact that they have a big picture of The Three Stooges hanging in the men's room. The delicious food and awesome pies are just an aside. If you've been drinking all night on Saturday, this is your best ever Sunday morning respite. Where else can you chase down a eggs and pancakes with a slice of cherry pie? Well, probably a lot of places, like Denny's and Mel's, so shut up already. I get it. House of Pies even. But you can do it here without the cheeseball factor, or the hipster doofus factor. Plus, when I go in and read a giant stack of scripts here, no one bothers me. I tried this at Mel's once, and the waiter asked me if I would read his script. It wasn't an exciting pie action adventure thriller, sadly.

So this is my #1, my go to, my default place I head to when the fridge and cupboards are bare and my stomach is growling. It's also the place I choose when someone asks me to breakfast. 1) because it's right by my house and 2) they serve an awesome Soyrizo scramble! This place became known for pies, but with it's awesome breakfast menu and great vegetarian choices it's now home away from home. My friend Aubrey swears by the '4n20 Morning' which "guarantees a good morning". I don't quite remember what it is exactly but I know it's got eggs potatoes and maybe some french toast and breakfast meat. Like I said before I go for the Soyrizo scramble. Vegetarian Chorizo scarmbled with egg whites and topped with jack cheese and sliced avocado (and served with a homemade salsa if you ask for it.) Home fries and toast and to me, that is a good morning - This is a perfect place to go alone and read a book or meet with friends or business partners. During off-peak hours the food is served QUICKLY - I mean real fast. I think sometimes they cook it as they see you pull up. For lunch and dinner I find myself always ordering the Black Bean Burger. It's spicy and served with lettuce tomato and pickle and this one-of-kind homemade Jalepeno thousand island type spread. It's addicting and perfect for the fries. They have a great healthy menu here too. One thing you will love is the Tortilla Soup and the cornbread. The chili - both meat and veggie - are great and so is.. well everything. This place just gets it. It's perfect.

I went here last night with 3 friends. We had the blackened salmon, 4n20 burger, fish and chips, and the flank steak (which I had). Everything was fantastic and we all commented on why we hadn't tried this place before?? This will definitely become a new spot for us.

Oh Mateo, the times we have had at Four N 20. I always think of our walks from the apartment, early evenings during summer for a nice slice of pie. I HEART Four N 20. It's great, simple food. Breakfast (like my Four N 20 Morning or Mateo's and Stephy's Soyrizo Scramble) all the way to dinner (you really can't beat a big bowl of veggie chili with no onions and a side of garlic toast....and we're not talking wimpy veggie chili, we're talking hearty) but save room for dessert (pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream and a cup of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and garnished with mini chocolate kisses).

this place is fabulous. i would see it all the time driving home from hollywood on laurel canyon and finally told my boys we should go check it out. HOT DAMN! this place is incredible. Everything we had was good. I got the turkey melt, but don't like sprouts, so got tomatoes instead. the wheat bread was hearty and delicious. my friend had breakfast, probably the lumberjack. and aside from sandwhiches and bagels, i love bacon. and his bacon was so super yummy. the sausage was a little greasy, but it's breakfast sausage, what more can you expect. the other one had a HUGE burger. to top it all off we got pie. the apple kind with the crumbley top. it was fantabulous. after we finished our bill never came and when we asked, one of our buddy's just looked and smiled. turned out he knew the owners and we didn't have to pay. the whole experience was great. on top of all that, they're open till midnight. now tell me, if it's 11 pm and your lookin for something good, why would you go to denny's, norm's, ihop, or anywhere else? hit up the 420 restaurant if you've got the munchies. i know i'll go again!

good place for breakfast all day, nice selection of omelettes, sandwiches, and other diner food. Didn't try the pies, but good neighborhood diner atmosphere, plenty of parking, good service, lots of healthy (and not-so-healthy) choices. They even offer a "Fitness" menu - lots of egg-white omelets and high-protein dishes.

Had tortilla soup, grilled cheese and lemon meringue pie for lunch today. Ended up buying a whole pie since it was $4.50 for a slice or $10.50 for an entire pie. Tortilla Soup - A+ Grilled Cheese - B- Lemon Meringue Pie - A- Parking Lot - D Really, that tortilla soup was EXCELLENT. Will definitely be going back just for that!

Awesome dinner! The four and twenty roast beef sandwich with green chili's is awesome.... So is the Blackened Albacore Tuna steak sandwich... The tortilla soup is the best I've ever had.... If you order breakfast, you have the option of ordering a blueberry muffin instead of toast... THIS BLUEBERRY MUFFIN WAS SENT FROM GOD! The words blueberry muffin don't even do it justice, this is more like the most moist heavenly piece of blueberry cake you could imagine, served with a cinnamon sweet cream. The eggs benedict is so-so, not a fan of their Hollandaise sauce, and the stay away from the chicken parm sandwich... other than that, this place is money!

If you've decided "You know what? Let's cut the sh*t and get something delicious, hearty at a place with awesome service!" then Four N' 20 is your best bet. I just got back from there on my lunch break; they sat me down right away, and brought me a drink in no time flat. Two seconds later another waitress came by and took my meal order (NY Strip open sandwich w/ a side of tortilla soup). I kid you not, not even 2 minutes later I had a hearty, delicious bowl of their tortilla soup at my table. By the time I had two heaping spoonfuls of soup left in my bowl, my steak sandwich was ready (and well done, by the way). It too was great. I ended the meal with a walloping slice of their in-season fresh strawberry pie (and the iced tea just kept coming, they weren't playing around) and a smile on my face. All of that was $22, which was well worth it when you account for the food and the very-friendly wait staff. To top it off, I got back to work right on time. For a quick work-lunch, you cannot go wrong with this place! ;D

This is my favorite restaurant to go to on the weekend. I've been going there for the last 20 years. My children love the food and especially the one waitress who is so friendly and caring. I love their breakfast menu and they serve a great cup of coffee. It's a great place to go to and re-energize and have a great conversation with your good friend Martha. She's a great friend and waitress and she knows exactly how you like your toast.

I was once served a piece of pie here that had mold on it. Honest to god mold. Which means it was probably sitting in their display cabinet for quite some time. Ever since then, I've been afraid to go back. Ick!

420 is not a good place to eat. Years ago I was drawn in because of the name. Yes, I was smoking a lot of pot at the time so it just made sense. 420 right? It seemed like a stoner's dream come true. Unfortunately the food here sucks. Bad. I don't know why anyone would ever call this place great. It's not. Even if you've got the munchies, avoid this place.

So I've never actually eaten AT Four N 20, but every summer my dad picks up a fresh peach pie, and it's mind-boggling! Pops knows his sweets. He's a post triple-bypass diabetic, so believe me when I say that any sugar he eats is tempting fate. But honestly, that flaky golden crust loaded to the top with fresh peach slices... what a pie!

This is our go to when we just want to eat something in a casual, diner setting that's not mexican food. Breakfast is good and they have lots to choose from. I am especially fond of the blackened salmon salad which i always ask to be "un-blackened" as I do not understand why one would ruin a good piece of fish such as salmon by blackening it. I love how they put kidney and garbanzo beans on their side salads. You can get your burgers however you want, their sandwiches are good homestyle not big-humungo-gargantuan-monstrocities, they give you a good pour on the wine, and they also have a good "fitness menu". The orange juice is fresh squeezed and their pies are excelente! The people that work there are always very friendly and give great service - both at this location as well as van nuys - btw, you can bring your dog to the van nuys locale and sit on the patio.

$9.25 for two eggs and toast? The service is great, but the prices are outrageous for what it is.

Eliz G.
Why why why have I never eaten here?? For 2 years I have been walking distance, and I never even thought of walking into this place. I'm so glad I finally did! I must admit, the front of the restaurant isn't that inviting, it looks like a truck stop diner. When you go inside, it has a total midwestern charm to it. It's typical diner food, homestyle food, and homemade pies. OMG the chocolate banana pie, YUMMMM.. I also appreciated the health concious menu. I ordered the egg white frittata. It was great!!!!!! Service was very personable, and the food was cheap. I will definitely be back!

not impressed with the chilli at all! would have done better with store bought canned stuff! fries were great as well as the bananna cream pie! i had to call a waitress to take my order which was not ideal since the place was not even that busy! second time there.. but i think iam over this place unless iam craving bananna cream pie!

Meat Me in the Middle ..
Four n' 20 is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I usually go to this place for lunch during work. It's fast and good diner food. I usually get the sandwiches - chicken salad, grilled cheese and bacon or BLT - all are good and come with plenty of sides. And don't leave without trying one of their pies. My favorites are the cream pies - banana cream, chocolate cream or a combo chocolate banana cream pie - YUMMY!
(4)
Daliah R.
The food is good and the service is excellent. Why I gave it three stars instead of four is because the soup was a little salty, but more importantly because they heat their pies in the microwave. No self respecting baker would ever do that. So if you ask for your pie warm, expect a chewy gooey crust.

I was introduced to this place by a buddy and I loved this place. A little overpriced and the chilaquiles was just okay. The staff was very friendly and a nice dining room. I had a good experience but the food was just okay.

For review #300, I picked a good one. Tired of the same old places, I asked some friends to meet me here for lunch. Very nice, extensive menu, different from the traditional diners and places like Denny's. Everyone liked their food, which were dishes such as a Turkey Melt, lentil soup and something called Minestroganoff. I chose a pasta dish, Spinach Florentine, which included capellini, tomatoes, mushrooms. And a good side salad with garlic bread. Excellent. The meal was large enough that I also had it for dinner. To top it off, I got me some of their famous pie, choosing blueberry. I haven't had a piece of pie this good in a long, long time. I included vanilla ice cream. Yummy. Waiter and the other staff were awesome, always there to fill mine and my friends' glasses. This was a great meal and a pretty nice restaurant. They do a lot of advertising of their pies, which are great. My only complaint, and it is something that probably cannot be rectified, is the parking. The dumbest setup you can imagine. You drive in the back and park, if there is a space. When you leave, you literally have to turn your car around in this dinky parking lot, making sure nobody else is coming in, and head out the same way you came in, one lane, while all of the cars parked are in the opposite direction. Make sense? Not to me. But I will return. Their pie is just too good.

I'm surprised I never reviewed this place before. I don't know if their name is an inside joke, but I can tell you I've smelled many a 420 in their parking lot from their employees on their "smoke" breaks. Now some people think this place is a run down dive, and the food not so great. I can understand that. But I like their food for the most part (like comfort food, GREAT on a rainy night) and their PIE is the best around. People wait on lines during the holidays to get it. I'm a pecan pie nut and they make my fav pecan pie in the world. Plus there's a waiter there who is very cool with us, knows what we want and is generous. I like most of the waitstaff there, except here and there you'll get the actor/actress who is too busy running lines in their head. But overall, I've been going to this place for about 16 years; for those post-hangover breakfasts and for dinner. My fav's: Spaghetti and Chili combo, Chinese Chicken Salad, Garden or beef Jumbo Burger, Chicken Parm sandwich or dinner, Tortilla Soup (AMAZING, I'd say their specialty), Chicken Marsala (tell them not to make the chicken too tough) with Mash, oh, and their Blueberry bread with cinnamon butter is TO DIE!

I'm a food service delivery driver and today was THE winter rain storm of 2014 we've all been waiting for. I showed up looking like a drenched rat with their product this morning after having braved the elements and all the crazy nutzoid traffic. I was well on my way to having a bad day and they were only the second stop on my daily route. The owner took one look at me as I came in the back door and said "Wow, it's awful out there and you're absolutely drenched you poor thing" I'll get you hooked up with a big hot chocolate and a piece of pie. How does that sound"? Needless to say, all the frustration of the silly situation just melted away and I was suddenly having a great day, had a smile on my face and nothing mattered anymore. Like I said, I am just a mere delivery driver. Imagine how well they would treat you if you were a paying customer....... This place ROCKS. always has, always will. Five stars and hats off to four and twenty.

This place is really close to work, so I will often times find myself there for breakfast. The wait staff is very nice and super efficient. I've never found myself wondering where my food is. The food is pretty good, nothing extraordinary. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, which is annoying. Like I said, this place is really close to my work, so a couple times a year, we will get a bunch of pies delivered for some event, and that's where they steal the show! Their pies are delicious! Chocolate cream! Apple! Boysenberry! I've never had a pie I didn't like. If you come to 4n20, you won't be overly excited about the food, but you won't be disappointed either...but make sure you save room for dessert!

I learned about this place from a friend a few years ago and really like it here...It's very old school but that's part of the charm...I went there for breakfast and it was very tasty...You have to try the blueberry bread side with the cinnamon butter it is sooooo YUMMY! I had a simple bacon and eggs with fruit and I finished everything ;) The coffee was pretty good too for a diner....The prices are fair and the service was good...It was busy but I got seated quick and the food came out pretty quickly too ;)

Damn good and cheap as heck! HAd the best eggs and hash browns here. But the SCORE was husbands side of Corn Bread. Holy smokes!!!! The latte was off... the guy didn't make it right, so they replaced it happily with a coffee. I will certainly be back. Amazing place for hangover brunch.

I come here all the time. The food is ok. Not great. Not terrible. Got a BLT today add avocado ($1.95 extra). The sandwich came with a pound of lettuce. Not green. Tons of avocado and a tomato. Oh and 2 slices of bacon on each half. I call BS. A $10 sandwich consisting of lettuce and avocado that I paid extra for. Probably won't return. The price does NOT equal what you are getting. Fair warning. Service was unbearably slow. One waitress for the whole restaurant. Pretty disappointing experience.

First, let me say that the customer service was quite good. From the call to pick up to paying, they were fine. I called to see if they had a Dutch Apple Pie, as it's my husband's favorite. (I make it every year for his birthday since he hates cake but I didn't have time to make it this year. I'd eaten here several years ago and enjoyed my 'grandma style country fair' food.) So yes, they had one last Dutch Apple pie left and they held it for me for six hours. ....I'm not sure if it was a sugar free pie or what, but I bought the pie on Wednesday and it's Saturday now. We still have more than half a pie left. Our friends came to our place later that night and we offered them some pie. And then we immediately said, 'Actually, you guys, it's not that good. You really don't want it.' I mean, the hubs obliterates my pies in one day and I don't think what I make is all that special. Never order the Dutch Apple pie here.

A year ago on thanksgiving I stopped at my best friends house for dessert with their family. Her sister had brought two pies from 4n20. One was boysenberry and the other was pumpkin. I love boysenberry pie. I hadn't had boysenberry pie in ages. This boysenberry pie was amazing. My best friend was on her way home from visiting her sister and stopped by and picked up a boysenberry pie. I was in heaven last night and still have two slices left to eat. She took the rest of the pie home to her husband. It was still as epic as it was a year ago. Thank you for your dedication to consistency! :)

This place is great! I've been coming here for years. My boyfriend and I always share a black bean burger and a fried chicken salad. Very "homey" food.

I went with a bunch of folks to this place for lunch. It has a very diner style seating with odd looking chairs. I ordered a vegetable florentine and was surprised at the quantity of food. I also placed an order for my first slice of pie and was definitely smitten. So yep - I'd go here but maybe not as often as I would like to and definitely when I'm a lot hungrier.

Good food, EXCELLENT staff, and delicious pie. What more can you ask for from a diner? The bathrooms are so small, they made me wonder what the building used to be before FourNTwenty.

Five stars is for outstanding, let's be realistic. This is a dumpy diner, which is a special category of Resturant that I have a fondness for. The food has good flavor, they are definitely creative in the kitchen, and the portions are generous. Priced well, it's a value. The service is above average. Lots of personality and a good neighborhood hangout. Never been disappointed but I would appreciate new carpet.

Best breakfast!!!! Love their hash browns, eggs are always fluffy, and salsa, awww...delicious. Soyrizo scramble is another one of my favs. Service is amazing...specially the young man that wears an earring, always goes beyond to please us. Their chocolate cream pie is great...not overly sweet...which I love. Definitely recommend it.

I have dined here multiple times and have never experienced a poor meal or disappointing service. Generous portions and very tasty cuisine. My only critique - which really comes down to personal preference - is that their cream pies are a bit too... creamy. It would be nice if there were less cream and more filling, but some pie lovers may love that. A highly recommended valley gem!

i have been wanting to try this place out because of their reviews. Little did I know that it would cause me to wake up the next day with my body aching, stomach turning, & the porcelain god being my best friend. Before I get into too many details of all the side affects I have just google Salmonella Poisoning & that will answer your questions. So let me tell you what I ordered in hopes that "A" they prepare it better or "B" you stay clear away from it. I ordered the Open Face Roast Beef Sandwich with a side of mashed potato. It was yummy going down but awful coming out. We also ordered the Lemon Crunch pie to go which was very yummy. I do not think it was the pie that got me feeling so sick & made me spend all day yesterday in bed & in the bathroom. Thank god for Ginger Ale & Jello. Now I am not saying that you shouldn't go try this place out as you can tell other people have had good experiences. I am just saying you cant pay me to eat here even if their pies are delicious, ME THINKS NOT!!! Now back to sipping on Ginger Ale & eating some Jello.

This place doesn't look like much, but the service was great, food was excellent. We ordered and had our food within 5 min. All in all I would definitely recommend eating here. I had a very enjoyable experience!!

Amazing breakfast place! I have only been here three times but each time has been very satisfactory. Parking is a bit difficult if the lot is full but metered street parking is available. The inside gives off the feeling that an actual house was turned into a restaurant. Seems kinda cool to me. Of course if you come to a breakfast place, you have to stick to their breakfast menu to try out all the cool options they have. I had a scramble with veggies inside, breakfast potatoes and one of their homemade muffins grilled. Amazing muffin! The food was delicious and each time has been very pleasant. I haven't gone enough for the stag to recognize me but they have always been friendly and welcoming to me. The second time I came I had their grilled salmon salad and I wasn't disappointed! The third I tried the first thing I ate again cause I tend to be a creature of habit. Definitely recommend this place!

This place was ok. The food is over priced and wasn't that great either. Ehh.. Other than the pies that was really good.

Let's be honest. With a name like 4 N 20 and locations in the Valley; most patrons will assume (or more accurately: hope) that this establishment has something to do with marijuana. Well, sorry to burst your bubble kiddos, but it is far from it. Four N 20 has to do with the nursery rhyme, "Sing a Song of Sixpence" and the Medieval pie which inspired it. As the lyrics state: "Sing a song of sixpence, A pocket full of rye. Four and twenty blackbirds, Baked in a pie" However, if you work for the Medieval branch of PETA, you can relax. The pie crusts were baked ahead of time with the birds placed in the pie crust moments before offering it to the King with the top crust blanketed on. Upon opening the pie, the birds would sing and fly out. No blackbirds were harmed. Now that we cleared that up, Four N Pie IS actually uniquely named, as they originally focused merely on pies (which is still their best seller); before offering diner food. I've been to Four N 20 a couple times, and it can safely be said that when you are in a late-night stitch to fill that hunger pang, Four N 20 is a great place to try (kitchen closes at 11:30). Four N 20 offers some of your typical diner-esque menu items (fries, chili, soups, salads, burgers, etc) but it is tastier, presented better, and less greasy. It is more of a "mom and pop" homestyle restaurant than a diner (and not as dirty and gross looking). Plus, for you alcoholics out there, they serve wine and beer in case you want to elevate your tipsy-ness to the next level. Although I was enticed by the "Fitness Menu" consisting of soy, egg white, and salmon offerings; my boyfriend and I agreed on sharing a Blackened Salmon Salad ( blackened salmon on garden greens with tomato, red onion, chick peas, avocado, and "complimented" with jack cheese -- $11.95) and a bowl of Tortilla Soup ($6.75). Both items were large enough for two people and ample for sharing. The salmon was absolutely delicious. Moist, perfectly seared with a Cajun spice, and rather flaky. We accented the salad with Fat Free Lemon Herb dressing which was very flavorful so don't think that fat free is tasteless. Our only complaint was that the "complimented" cheese was much too extensive and covered the salmon filet; so for our health's sake, we scraped it off and put it aside. The Tortilla Soup has gone downhill, unfortunately. Four N 20's Tortilla Soup used to be strong and spiced just right, but now was more of a flavorless broth with an overabundance of soggy onions, avocado chunks, and tortillas. Plus, it cooled way too quickly. Not recommended. Prices was inexpensive, so your wallet will thank you while service is rather friendly and courteous. I haven't tried the pie, so I can't attest to their prime offering, but I can tell you that there will be no blackbirds flying around. A relaxing atmosphere with decent food. Now it's up to you to decide if you would have rather had the marijuana.

Wanted desperately to like this place after a very disappointing experience at their Van Nuys location...and I did! Met owner Brian A. Bell at this location, and he is awesome! Explained about our experience at the other location and he assured us he will look into our concerns, this location is clean, trendy, staff is very attentive and food is outstanding, completely different experience. I can't believe both locations are owned by the same family, it's like 1 location is the favorite well taken care of child and the other is the beaten and neglected red headed step child. Thank you Brian for making my day brighter and giving me back hope that their are still owners who actually care about their customers & establishments.

The food is delicious! Breakfast was spot on, eggs were cooked perfectly. Every time we've come here the staff has been absolutely fantastic, they make the experience. They're all wonderfully nice and helpful with suggestions. I would definitely recommend this place. It has a great diner vibe to it. It also the world's best hot chocolate!! I've from the east coast and we take our hot chocolate seriously and theirs is by far the best. The homemade whip cream is what takes it over the top!

I went here a couple times. This last time I went the service was pretty bad. Everyone working there must be baked or something because it was like the staff there just didn't give a crap. They weren't rude or impolite, but the service was so sloooooooowwwwww and casual.... It was like no one gave a crap to take our orders or anything. I seriously thought our waitress was watching TV in the back room or something cause she was scarce. Two servers, a busser, and two managers manning a half-dead diner and service was still excruciatingly slow. I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to food service, but they really take their time over there... The food is okay but not that great. It's pricey for the mediocre food quality.

Sadly this place is sadly mediocre. The servers were friendly, but it was expensive for what it was. I had a blackened chicken sandwich whose soft little bun didn't cover half the chicken poking out at either end. Fries were greasy. Chairs uncomfortable. The whole thing was just so so mediocre it doesn't even warrant longer discussion.

Well, I just got off the toilet, if that tells you anything about how the rest of this review is going to go... There is a little parking lot off the front entrance and I think it can fit quite a few cars. We walked in around 7 pm on Saturday night and the place was almost dead. The host that seated us was very pleasant and let us choose any table in the restaurant. He was also our waiter. My ice tea was refilled regularly. I have to say that there's something off with the service. They seemed to be trying very hard to be super nice but at the same time I got the feeling that they were also indolent. I got the salad and my friend a club sandwich. She did comment they used grated cheese in her sandwich. My salad had over cooked albacore with melted cheese that looked like it tried to disappear into the fish it was sitting under heat lamps so long... Either they don't practice, "safe handling," of their food or the salad had salmonella, because I got food poisoning. Hence my statement at the beginning, I got severe diarrhea from eating their food. My friend went a step further and ordered a slice of pie. Boy was that a waste, it was the strawberry/rhubarb pie and it was ugly folks. When it arrived it looked like the pie was trying to disintegrate into the plate. My friend dug through the filling to find over cooked frozen rhubarb that was discolored brown mixed in with too much gelatin. The gelatin wasn't even holding the filling together. There just wasn't enough fruit and too much empty filler. The crust even looked bland and stale from where I was sitting. It's a skip on this place. I could've gotten her a better pie if I went across the street to Gelson's. Market. I know at least one person who raves about this place, but she doesn't cook and, she only goes here when shes really hung over. You must be drunk to eat here and rave about the food. It was a little on the pricey side also, almost $50 for 2 people for what they offer. Really? This place could be soo much more...

I love this place in the mornings when I am working in the area, Really the best breakfast restaurant in the valley. the service is prompt and correct, my drinks are refilled continually and the price is very fair, I ussually have a special order scramble with egg whites and some vegetables, sometimes cheese, or if I am in the mood a full on eggs with crisp bacon, fruit etc... always delicious. They have an extensive menu for those on low carb or high protien diets. WHen NOT on low carbs I also LOVE the pies, freshly made, lots of varitey and flaky crust, why make them at home? Two thums up for service and food !

They have all types of breakfast. Kind of like a denny's but the atmosphere / service is a little different... When i walked in there were a bunch of "hipster" type people. Service was more friendly.. "dude" than professional.. I will go back to this place because the food was good, however it isn't a place that I would take my mother too...

Just thought since I mentioned the chatty server last time, I would be fair and mention that we got this server again recently and she was much less chatty! Showed up when we needed her and didn't interrupt us once! Cool.

Good food, but know what you're getting into. I met a friend here for lunch, and she picked this place (from Yelp, actually) so it was going to be a discovery for both of us. I was in "LA meeting" mode, so when an elderly gentleman in the plaid shirt came over to me it took actually took a moment for me to realize he was going to seat me. Extra customer service points to him for noticing my surprise but remaining friendly. Fairly empty for lunch, so we got our food in very good time. I ordered the blackened salmon with veggies and a salad. The fish was delicious--moist and juicy, will-sized, well-spiced, the whole nine. Wasn't impressed with the salad at all, though--surprisingly cheap for a place at that price point. And a quarter of the way through the veggies I started to get that butter-overload feeling, and I suddenly had an idea why both fish and veggies tasted so good. Didn't eat half the veggies and made myself finish the fish despite the steady escalation of my blood pressure (because it was just that good). I'm not an uber-granola guy but honestly what doesn't taste good cooked in enough butter? They do have healthier fare listed on the menu but if you go to this place definitely do so with the intention to indulge. There have been several comments about the service, and while mine was interesting it isn't something I fault them for. I ordered a garden variety lemonade. I drank about a third of it when a busboy came by and asked if I wanted more. I thanked him and declined. It was half gone when a second server came over and asked if I wanted more. I thanked him and declined. I'd just finished drinking it when the server who took our order came over and asked if I wanted more. I thanked him and accepted. My friend joked that they wore me down. But in my book there are worse things than having three separate guys concern themselves with the proper level of my drink. If I was in the valley and didn't mind slightly over-paying for good service and really yummy food that might burst an artery, would I go again? Sure.

COCKROACH! While having a meal here we saw a cockroach. Which destroyed my ability to enjoy the texture of the Blacked Albacore Tuna sandwich I had crunched into. I was also embarrassed because I had brought two buddies visiting from Australia to have a meal there. We notified a waiter and he quickly dispatched of the vermin. However, it was at least 10-15 minutes before we were approached by any staff offering any apology or explanation for a Roach perusing the restaurant floor midday. Long story short, the ROACH spotting occurred about 1/4 way into my meal. I didn't finish it and did not request to have it boxed up to take home . When the bill came around I alone in my party of 5 requested that my sandwich be taken off the bill because I was uncomfortable eating it after seeing the insect. Especially after my Aussie friends offered to cover the bill in thanks for my hosting them. This is an exact transcription of the discussion with the manager/owner. Me: After seeing the cockroach crawling past my table I feel hesitant paying my sandwich that I was not comfortable finishing. Owner: What you've never seen a Roach before? Me: (shocked) Not at a restaurant. Owner: REALLY!!!!???? Me: ...Yes... At which point he begrudgingly removed my sandwich from the final bill. Now, it is very possible that the owner is just the worst at resolving conflict. However, I was incredibly unnerved by his casual reaction to bugs crawling across the dining floor of his eating establishment. That is why unfortunately I have to give Four N 20 a one star rating. My roommates and I are also now left to find a new breakfast joint nearby.

What a great little diner. The prices are extremely reasonable, the service extremely friendly, and the kitchen extremely fast. It's also a very comfortable casual ambience, and is one of our favorite breakfast spots. The food is definitely diner food, but if that's what you're looking for, then look no further. They are also in the process of updating their menu... They have a fairly large selection of "health conscious" entrees (egg white omelets etc) and have even begin to explore adding vegan friendly fare to the menu. Just an added bonus!

Lucked into this place- exited on Laurel Canyon for gas and noticed the building across the street and was drawn in for lunch. Felt like stepped into the 70's in a good way. Sure enough, service very friendly and kind, had a an amazing chicken parm sandwich, saw a Hollywood actor eating lunch, and vowed to stop in for breakfast sometime when down in LA

The first time I went here was for pumpkin pie, because it was one of those days that I wanted the particular baked good more than life, so Dan suggested the Four N 20. I have to say it ended up being pretty good. To be honest, though, I can't really say I've ever met a slice of pumpkin pie I didn't like. To illustrate my point; I've had pumpkin pie at Denny's. The tea here is kind of interesting. You get a little basket full of an odd assortment of tea bags that don't really seem to make sense, and though I've only been here twice, I've noticed the assortment to be different each time. I've also noticed a teabag of Bigalow Earl Grey. My heart kind of sinks just a little every time I order tea and am presented with Bigalow tea bags. Then I remember that I'm not a snob, I ask for some real milk (because I don't believe non-dairy creamer belongs in tea), and everything's okay again. The food itself? Dan liked whatever he got... I'm trying to recall any kind of detail about it, and all I'm seeing in my mind is what appears to be eggs? And Spinach? I don't know. I've only had some hash browns and a bran muffin. I don't remember not liking this muffin, but that's the extent of my opinion on it. I ate the hash browns on a "I want this more than life" Day: Potato Edition, so... I mean, I remember them as being fantastic. Dan, however, does not. He remembers them as being just okay. At least that's what I got from his noncommittal shrug. He also said something interesting about this place... that the idea of it reminds him of diners back in Iowa, where the food is cheap and awesome, and the vibe is kind of hipstery, but in a laid back way. Only the idea of the Four N 20, though. Where they fail, he goes on to explain, is in the execution. The food is kind of too expensive for what it is, and it leaves him feeling like the whole thing's a gimmick. Having said all that, we've only ever had friendly service here, and I've always enjoyed myself. I mostly enjoy myself every where I go, though. If you happened to be here on a day where there was a girl in a blue hoodie making her metal teapot talk, you should have said hello. I'd have offered to buy you some pie.

A really good neighborhood diner. Reasonably priced and quality food is a recipe for success, which is evident here as it has been there forever. Plus, it is good to support local businesses, instead of going to a chain place..

tokk my son and his wife have been going there for 10 yrs now. usually just for breakfast or burgers. ordere the speghetti it was mushy, watery and just not good. i had like 4 bites, i couldnt make myself eat it. and they still charged me like 4.50 for the lame assed salad. i asked if they were sure they wanted to charge me for that... well the manager said. too bad. bad management they should have paid me 4.50 to not yak it up. they dont care if you dont like your food. they dont care if you are a long time customer. too bad. and parking always sucks

I love this place. I've lived around the corner for over 30 years and never eaten here before this weekend. The service is excellent and the menu and options are great. The breakfast portions very nice and when they mean fruit as an option to potato's they mean huge slices of pineapple and huge sweet strawberries. Looking over the menu I can see I'll have to come back and try a burger.

This is a definite "go-to" place whenever I'm in the mood for some delicious homemade tortilla soup and PIE!!! Did I mention they have PIE? Lots of pies to choose from! I've been eating here for over 14 years and I just love this place. They have great breakfasts (served all day) and lots of unusual items plus daily specials... I love that i can get pretty much anything I want and its cheap, fast and yummy every time... Tip = try the Brownie Fudge Cake - it's M's personal favorite.. ;)

Big plus is I saw Luke Wilson ordering takeout here. Second plus was Banana Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie (excellently delicious) Erin enjoyed the black bean burger especially because of the jalapeño sauce that came with it. Compare to Hugo's in Studio City: * both cater to vegetarians/ vegans * both have diner food with a twist * both have good service * Four and 20 is less expensive * Four and 20 has exceedingly quicker service * Hugos has tastier pasta * Hugos has better decor and atmosphere

I have gone to Four N 20 for over 25 years. If you're looking for a delicious All-American breakfast, this is THE place to go. I've eaten at many of the local restaurants and without question, Four N 20 has the absolute best pancakes in the San Fernando Valley. The food is consistently good. The staff are consistently nice. I've never ever had a bad experience at Four N 20. This is not a tourist spot and most of the customers seem to be local regulars. I say this since I've seen a lot of the same people there many times. The prices have gone up, but I guess that's true for most places. Their coffee is typical diner coffee. Their parking lot is limited and a little tricky to navigate, but I've seen worse. If you want an excellent hearty breakfast, you must try Four N 20 in Studio City.

Although for some reason they have fallen into the same trap as other diners in LA in thinking that it is totally reasonable to charge double digits for eggs and bacon, there is something cozy and reminiscent of my midwest roots about this place. It's too expensive for me to add it to my regular lineup of restaurants but they do serve biscuits so that keeps it somewhat in my rotation. They're not the same as good southern-made authentics, but they do in a pinch.

Went for the 1st time a few weeks ago and have been back three times already. Love the Tortilla Soup, regular coffee is strong and tasty, the almond french toast is to die for and so is the Strawberry Rhubarb pie (YUM!). I was not thrilled with the fried chicken (greasy) and butter is served in pats (did not know those were even still around). Decor is old school and could use a facelift but it is still comfortable. Parking can be a pain with a very small parking lot. Try it, it is worth the visit. When we were there we always saw the staff welcoming the regulars which was nice to see....

This place is the best place for desserts . The thing about this restaurant is most Of the food is good just some of them are bland. So, it's a hit or miss . A little pricey. I got the ny steak sandwich and it was delicious! Cooked the way I liked and had a lot of flavor. Out waitress was sweet and funny. My mom got a beef dip sandwhich . It was good but lacked flavor . Now, we order a side of corn break with the cinnamon butter ? It was amazing ! Then we had strawberry fudge pie . It was amazing and I hate pie. They give large portions and had ALOT of variety and the reviews and pictures here are really helpful . I will go back just for the hot chocolate and dessert alone.

Breakfast is a revelation. Omelettes the size of Pakistan. Scoops of cottage cheese the size of the "Kitchen Sink" ice cream sundae at Jahn's in Paramus, NJ, back when therew as a Jahn's. Decaf coffee that gets poured from a specially marked carafe. A waitress who is totally on top of things. Well done, guys. If you weren't just a Four N 20, you'd get five stars. No, that's not true. If you have Passover matzoh available in mid-April, you'll get five stars.

This is great in a pinch if you're craving comfort food. I was too full to sample the dessert, and that was the whole reason we came here! Needless to say, the portion is large for dinner. I think the service could have been a bit more attentive, but it was something I could live with.

If you like your grilled cheese sandwich blackened on one side and the cheese in need of a melt, then this is the place for you. These cooks could burn water. Bakery items and pies are great. Of course none are made by them and are brought in. This place is really a coffee shop with prices a bit on the high side considering the food. I suggest Coffee and pie only. Nice people though.

Years ago a good friend took me here while I was visiting out of town and ever since I moved here, both Four N 20s have been major stops for us for all styles of meals at all hours of the day. Since this one is a lil further away than their other location, we don't frequent this as much but this is our Fav in terms of decor. Omelettes, Pie and CORN BREAD cannot be beat. Can't recommend this enough!

So like ya i was craving pie one day, just like my gama use to make back home, a friend told me to come here they have delicious pies. Anyway i got my butt up and we went.... Long story short, they were out... it was only 6 o'clock and the place didnt look that packed. Cant believe i drove all the way there for no pie... I ended up going across the street to gelsons and getting one from there. It was yummy.

I used to work here, so I am a little bias. As far as breakfast goes, its exactly what you expect, eggs, toast, bacon, pancakes (no waffles :-( can I get a good waffle in this city please???). Oh and the food comes out quick, the kitchen has been the same for like 10 years. Breakfast is good. I definitely suggest trying the patty melt, the Four 'n' 20 roast beef, the Californian, and the tuna/ chicken salads. Dinner has some sneaker delights. When you're in the mood for mom's cooking, but she's in Tennessee or Florida, or Indiana, or Kansas, go have some meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Yes, I'm serious. Last, get dessert. The place does pie for God's sake. GO FOR THE PIE. Boysenberry, warm, with ice cream. To die for.

Amiable. Good service. Food is okay, The custard pie is quite nice. It's nearby and I enjoy it every now and then. This is rather a terse review with none of my usual pith. I have, apparently, had the pith taken out of me. I am pithless in Studio City.

Ok, this is a review that I meant to do after the first time I ate at Four N 20, and I'm finally here to write it! My main reasons for the 5 star rating are as follows: super speedy service, great prices, yummy food, and a cool cozy atmosphere. Four N 20 was located right around the corner from my old apartment, and I passed by constantly until finally deciding to eat there. I was amazed with the quick service and great prices! Our food came out in the blink of an eye, and it was really good. I ordered the french toast and bacon, which is probably an easy thing to get right but I'm sure everything on the menu is just as tasty. I'll also tell you that the blueberry muffin is probably the best one you'll ever have in your life. So moist and buttery, I almost died. This review is making me hungry, gotta go. Enjoy!!

SHORT REVIEW: Banana Fudge Pie... If you rate this place any lower and you didn't try this pie, then you're dumb. Just plain dumb. WHAT DID I EAT?: Whatever. Get the Banana Fudge Pie. LONG REVIEW: I give 5 stars to places that WOW me. Even if it's only one dish, and that dish is the best in the city, then that establishment gets a GLOWING review from me. I appreciate people/places/things that can do one thing extraordinarily because it's a lot harder to do that than it is to do a lot of things ok. The Banana Fudge Pie is FANTASTIC. The bananas are always fresh. The Fudge pudding isn't too sweet (Dark enough dark choco lovers, sweet enough for us hershey fans), and the pie crust is tasty on it's own. Now, if they ran out of pies when you got there, that happens. If you got bad service, it's probably because you're a d**k and don't know it. You're friends would tell you, but they're afraid of losing a friend because they are lonely and hate themselves. In fairness, I have been going to this place for 10 years and they're service is really honest and genuine. I've never been treated unfairly or rudely by any one there. And if anyone has... well, read this paragraph again. GO CHECK OUT THE BANANA FUDGE PIE. It's worth the trip and the adventure.

I guess you just must know what to order. My friend and I met there for breakfast often. The help is friendly and fun. We treat them like our family and they respond. We always get the "Baja" served with a side of hot sauce.. It is on the Healthy Menu. We drink gallons of non-stop coffee, laugh, and talk without feeling like we have to move on. Coffee is weak. I think I will have to order the pie sometime because of all these great reviews. It is an old fashion diner. WE love it.

Great, friendly service and the food is what you expect and want from this diner style eatery. The best chicken tortilla soup in the valley! Get a pie for later, too!

Came here with a friend for pie. I was surprised to see that it's actually a diner (with a surprising amount of seating on the inside, considering the parking lot is so small). Service was prompt and cheery. I didn't really look through their actual menu since we were just there for dessert, but I did notice that their prices seemed a little high (maybe by a dollar or two). A lot of pie options (fruit, cream, speciality, etc). We ended up getting a slice of cherry and a slice of strawberry/rhubarb, both a la mode. OH WOW. The strawberry/rhubarb was GOOD. Just the right amount of sweetness and tartness with a nicely textured pie crust. Worked well with the ice cream (I wasn't sure that it would). Really wish I lived closer because it isn't that easy to find good rhubarb pie. The cherry pie was pretty good, but not amazing. The filling didn't seem to have enough cherries in it. Ah I don't care. I liked the strawberry/rhubarb pie a LOT. If you like rhubarb, try it! And if you like slightly tart desserts but don't know what rhubarb is, look it up and then TRY IT!

The food is decent...pie is ok...but $7 dollars for three pancakes? Shiet! Give it shot if you want, but I'm telling you, its over priced for food thats not that great. That's entertainment!

The food is good; the menu is expansive; the service is friendly; the kitchen is fast; the portions are big; and the blueberry bread is amazing. I'm sure if I tried hard, I could find a few things to complain about, but I can't imagine anyone not finding one or two or fifteen things they love here. The hardest part of ordering is making up your mind--except for deciding what kind of bread or toast to get with your meal. Blueberry. Always blueberry.

I took my folks here for Father's day brunch. Despite being packed, they had a table open and sat us immediately. Somehow they managed to take care of us and everyone else as though we were the only customers there. The three of us left full and satisfied. I had the salmon Benedict with home fries, it was great. I was going to go for the country fried steak, but decided on the slight more healthy and less fried option. I also tried my mom's Benedict Arnold (had avocado instead of salmon) and it was also delish. My dad had the strawberry pancakes - I highly recommend these! Unfortunately we were so stuffed that I couldn't get the pie :( This was my first time at this location and second time overall (went to the Van Nuys Blvd location last year and enjoyed it). They will see me again!

Went here for a late dinner one night with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed it. The food was good, and the meals came with a lot of food, justifying the price. The pies are great! We took home some banana cream and some dutch apple to enjoy later, and enjoy we did. Given the lack of really good 24 hour places in the east Valley, Four N 20 gives us a great late-night eatery (keep in mind, they DO close, but they're open fairly late).

This is based solely on the pies. I have not idea about there food, and I don't mind about that at all because this is my go-to pie place! The boysenberry pie was amazing. Three of us finished it in two days. Very close to what my great grandma used to make back in Indiana. I like that they make so many pies a day and once they are gone, they're gone. I highly suggest calling to see what they have or if they can set your favorite aside.

I know that eons ago when I was going to school nearby this restaurant I had their pies. But I haven't had pie from there in so very long (actually the whole concept of eating pie is one that is sadly gone from my life) that I can't really vouch for them. I have had a couple of sandwiches there in the last couple of years which were decent and satisfying. i have also had their regular breakfasts which are satisfying and qualify as the usual diner fare. But when I come here I grab their fitness menu and order from there. I like the Baja Scramble, the Chicken and Rice plate and pretty much the entire small fitness menu. I get a lot of clean food for a fairly reasonable price. What drives me nuts, though, is the fact that they serve these clean selections with a wedge of bran muffin which is chock full of sugar and fruit and a side of honey butter...WHY??????? This negates all the healthy benefits of the meal. Of course I could (and usually do) order fruit or extra veggies in place of this, but my god, the muffin and that honey butter are to die for. So yes, I eat it. Foiled again by a "healthy" menu selection which comes with this tempting, delectable accompaniment. My resolve melts away. Urgh...How about a vegan selection? Something other than the bran muffin should be automatically offered as an option for us truly clean eaters.

I stopped in here for lunch and ordered a turkey sandwich on rye, which was good. The turkey was the real thing, sliced and piled high on fresh rye bread. On the side I ordered the cream of carrot and ginger soup, which was absolutely to die for. The sandwich alone was good, but the soup sent me into another stratosphere. The sweet carrots were nicely complemented by the spicy ginger, while the cream was subtle -- just enough to give it some consistency. For dessert I ordered a fresh strawberry pie -- puts Marrie Callendar's to shame. This was the real deal. The strawberries were glazed but not overly so -- so you could still taste the strawberries. The crust was a nice complement, along with real whipped cream. I will definitely come back here. Can't wait to try some of their breakfast items. BTW - breakfast is served all day. The only thing that could be a bit distracting is the parking lot. The spaces are at an angle but there is only one way in and out. So when you leave, you either back all the way out to the street or do the 5 point turn to wriggle your car around so that you can drive straight toward the street. When it's not busy, this is not a problem. But if there are a lot of cars there, and you have a big car, then you'd be better off finding street parking and walking over.

I go here almost every Sunday for their amazing brunch deal. A coffee or tea, a mimosa or champagne (which gets refilled!), a fruit cup, a big omelette (or other breakfast entrees) with a side of your choice, and toast...which I usually sub out for their amazing blueberry muffin bread with the cinnamon butter...all for $15.95. Stupidly good deal for me. Plus, even when it's busy, the food comes out FAST and still tasty! And the servers are really cool too. Parking can be kinda tricky, but that's pretty much the only downside for me.

I first ate breakfast here with friends back in 2005. We all quickly fell in love. The atmosphere is laid back, the staff is very friendly and the food is served hot and fast. After 5 years, this is still where we opt to go when we want more than coffee and a bagel for breakfast. If you like cornbread, definitely give theirs a try. It's served warm with cinnamon butter. So yummy!! Their desserts are great too. I LOVE their banana cream pie. We almost always go here for breakfast, but we've eaten here for lunch/dinner as well. It's solid diner food, but breakfast is usually when I'm craving diner food, so...

Definitely try the Great muffin with cinnamon butter! It is huge and melts in your mouth. Service was quick and friendly! Our waiter recommended the Californian sandwich, basically a Tuna melt with guacamole and sprouts. It was a good choice.

One night I was really lazy and decided I was going to get some food from this little place down the street. I got a burger, which was decent and was somewhat like something you would make at home, although kind of pricey. I like the feel of the place, its an old diner and you feel like you're in Kentucky (or wherever diners like this exist). Also had the tortilla soup, which tasted also like the type you'd make at home, and for some reason it made the whole meal into a comfort. Therefore, this is comfort food. The one thing I regret not trying YET is the pie. Everyone raves about it, and the displays are very, very tempting. Maybe I'll stop there for breakfast.

Fabulous everything! Seated quick, great service, food is delicious and gets served a few minutes after you choose your delicious selection... Mike's omelette with artichoke hearts, sundried tomato, spinach & feta rocks the house and so do the pancakes....didn't do any pie but it sure looked yummy~

PIE! PIE! PIE! Having just finished a delicious meal at Boneyard Bistro, I was cruising down Ventura Blvd with pie on the mind. I was originally intending to go to Urth but didn't feel like interacting with douche bags or pretentiousness so I let my GPS direct me to Four-N-20. What a gem! Four-N-20 is a no frills, unpretentious diner that serves up some amazing pie (review for pie only) in a casual setting. I was immediately asked for a beverage order as I sat and went with a decaf since it was already dark and I likes my sleep after a long day of driving. The waiter was extremely personable and took M and I to the pie display whereupon he pointed out all the different kinds of pie. M was set on lemon meringue before even going up there but I was undecided until the light bulb clicked on-dutch apple a la mode! The lemon meringue was awesome! Graham cracker crust with a nice soft, yet set (I hate you Marie Callendars with your runny filling, but I digress) lemon cream filling. The slice was topped off with a mountain of toasty meringue, tasty and not-overly sweet. My dutch apple pie likewise kicked some ass! A nice buttery crust that was crunchy and not Crisco-ed to death filled with sweet-cinnamon apples. The dutch topping was what made the pie though, too many places think the more sugar the better but this was properly sweetened so I could taste the brown sugar and not have my pancreas hurt in the end. However, the ice cream was standard something or other and had a couple of ice crystals. Nothing memorable and it served its role of melting my pie slice into a melty pool of apple-cinnamon, brown sugar, and creamy goodness. I will definitely be back for pie in the future-next up: chocolate cream, banana cream, chocolate-banana cream, or blueberry!

Would a virgin know if he/she had satisfactory sex or sin-sational sex? I don't know, and I don't know if I had a satisfactory or sin-sational piece of pecan pie. Why? I'm a 30 year old pecan pie virgin. I haven't visited Four N 20 in over a year and a half. It isn't right around the corner, and I'm not driving 30 minutes for a glorified diner, but... A couple days after a bodybuilding competition and a hankering for a piece of pecan pie will make me doing silly things. I tried my first pecan pie at Four N 20 because... One... I know my pumpkin pie, and when I visited here last year for a piece of pumpkin pie the restaurant delivered. Two... I almost order a pecan pie baked especially for me, but what would I do with the other three quarters of the pie after I'd eaten my piece? I think the restaurant and their pecan pie delivered, but what would I know?

I come here a lot and everything I've had is good. The tuna salad sandwich on toasted rye is awesome. If they would improve the quality of their espressos I would give them 5 stars.

Nothing finer than JJ's Diner. Not many will know what I am referring to. Those of you that do, understand why this place is so cool. However.... They don't serve waffles!!! Not even to honor the memory of Leslie Knope. When they serve waffles, I will change to 5 stars! :)
(4)Aimee P.
(3)Emily S.

(2)Steve G.
(3)John K.
This place rocks !!! Their muffins and honey butter are to die for. Great service. Always a table available.
(4)Talia L.
(4)Daryl S.
(4)Kara B.
(3)David S.
(4)Matt F.
The best key lime pie in LA! I also recommend their chocolate cream pie.
(5)Leah C.
(1)Richard L.
Barely gets by. Food average and ordinary at best ( sometimes cold). I have been here at least 4 times and will not go back. Nice people but the food does not cut it!
(2)Stephy S.
(5)Decisive M.
Not too bad but the greatest.
(2)Georgio A.
Pretty pricey food quality is so so. the only thing I like is that they deliver take that away I would take off another star.
(3)Ellen B.
(5)Gary M.
Place is good food is good.. but its kinda pricy!!!!
(4)Trey A.
(2)Brianne R.
(1)Jon B.
The food is not too bad. I like the tortilla soup! Breakfast is ok too. Sometimes there is a quartet singing...kind of inappropriate but at least they are good. Depending when you go it can be a bit of a gay hangout (no pun intended). If that's your cup of tea then go for it.
(3)Christyn K.
(2)Garrett M.
Service is always fast and reliable, the pie is *outstanding*, and the fitness menu options are great.
(4)Danielle D.
(3)Meghann L.
(4)Karen F.
The service was amazing and their blueberry bread with cinnamon butter was so yummy!!!
(5)Emma H.
(3)Alison B.
(3)Ryan V.
(3)Stevee D.
Skipped dinner last night so I could pig out here. Loved the chicken tortilla soup, hot Reuben Sandwich with sauerkraut, and warm blueberry pie! Ugh, so stuffed I think I may have to skip dinner again.
(4)Jen R.
(4)Marion S.

(4)Unicorn S.
(4)Dwane B.
noho diner, magnolia grill, meh, those spots are garbage, 4 and 20 is the place to go. Tasty and the service is friendly and fast.
(5)Anthony G.
Went here for breakfast. I had the french toast and it was just OK. It was a little soggy when I got it. Sausages were barely warm. The kicker is 2.70 for a cup of coffee. And it sucked. 2.70 for a lousy cup of Folgers. You can do better than this Four N 20.
(2)Joshua W.
I love this restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you feel at home and the staff is incredibly friendly. They have a great selection of food and make their own pies. Great food and great service in a comfortable atmosphere, what more do you want?
(4)Dan L.
The food wasn't bad, nothing amazing though. The fries weren't great. The waitress was really friendly. Probably wouldn't recommend this place to people, but it definitely wasn't bad.
(3)Min T.
(4)Jp K.
Very solid diner stuff. The breakfast has one of my faves - burger patty and eggs with hash browns, and they make it PERFECT. I like the Sherman Oaks one better, but the food's consistent at both.
(4)V B.

(4)Hazel M.
It was my first time coming here and it was nice the food was good and the waitress was really nice. I love the whole feel of the place. And I love the corn bread! Definitely coming back.
(5)Pia S.
(4)Eric L.
Love this place, hands down best breakfast in the valley, 4n'20 omlet is the best
(5)Victoria K.
(5)Crescent S.
This place is so small town trucker's diner feeling. And the food is just as small town and trucker good! Came here for breakfast after a late night and had the Texas Scramble. It was great as leftovers the next day warmed up with some Tapatio. Just saying. Ya I'll definitely go here again. xxx C
(4)Jess A.
Breakfast. I like breakfast. We get lunch take out at work, and even though my egg scramble is usually cold by the time it gets to me, it's still yummy! The corn bread is big, fluffy, and delicious. It's more like cake, and anything like cake is good in my book!
(4)Megan F.
Disgusting.
(1)Red G.
(5)CJ J.
Good times!
(5)Chris M.
(4)Aaron D.
I've been going to this cafe since I was one 1/2 yrs old. I know the owner and family. It's a Studio City local hang out (with good food). Ha ha ha. It's all about the breakfast though. Try the Blueberry Bread with the cinnamon butter. Oh yeah...
(5)Aaron P.
(5)Anna Z.
(4)Carol-Ann M.
Great food. Great coffee. Great service. At home atmosphere. I went for breakfast and was so impressed. Definitely going on my favorites list.
(5)adam m.
Wow, the attitude from the staff was terrible. Not dog friendly either. I said the hell with them, ate somewhere else. You'll never get my money!
(1)frank w.
I like this place and I'll tell you why. They offer you a quick reasonable priced breakfast and that is all I ask for. The food was good enough not the most outstanding, but it was quick easy and pleasant.
(3)Daniel U.
This is a cute little spot that literally is two block from my house. But in six years, I've only been there three times. I think the breakfast is okay, but there's nothing extraordinary about it. I'd go there in a pinch in a heartbeat, but I usually prefer something with a bit more of a twist.
(3)Alyson W.
(4)amy s.
(1)Greg B.
Adequate food at best. The breakfasts are completely ordinary and dull. And it's so close to Dupar's on Ventura... if you're in the mood for a decent coffee shop meal and some great pie, for God's sake go there instead.
(2)Lauren R.
(5)Eric A.
(2)lee w.
As many other reviews state, taken for the diner/coffee shop that is is, all aspects- food, service, quality...are all ok to good at best. Nothing great...nothing terrible, either.
(2)S K.
we went for breakfast. the food was ok and the service was great. i had the fresh peach pie... but honestly, i like the fresh peach pie at marie callendars more. husband had the corn beef hash and was not impressed. the corn beef hash was undercooked. we probably won't come back here again... there are plenty of other good places to eat.
(3)Melanya T.
(5)Scott D.
Good food fast. Always great service. Try the lumberjack w/ French Toast!
(4)Smigor r.
Pecan pie was good pumpkin pie was ok. Pretty pricey, $14 for two slices of pie (one a la mode) and water.
(3)PEARL S.
LIttle bit expensive! My breakfast combo cost 5.50 and a side of hashbrowns was the same amount!
(3)Annette S.
(5)lala c.
I love love love this place!!!!! I come here all the time for breakfast!!!!! And everyone who works here is so friendly! I always get an omlet and its the best!
(5)D. T.
this place looks a little shady... but the truth is, they make a mean veggie burger and they have kick ass thousand island dressing.... and i am down with that.
(4)Gretchen H.
Yay!!
(4)Tanika T.
I come here just for their hot chocolate!! It is so good! The staff is very nice, and the place is very well kept. The decor is out dated but that has nothing to do with the quality of their food! In short, its excellent.
(5)Kory L.
(4)andrew g.
Awesome comfort food. Felt like a Midwest cafe. Grilled cheese and french fries were awesome. very surprised. Going back to this one.
(5)Tanya L.
(2)Elsy B.
(4)Frances Z.
(4)liza s.
(3)Philip G.
I liked this place, they had a lot of vegetarian choices. It's hard to find American food with vegetarian plates. We will definitely be coming back here, especially for breakfast.
(5)Landy E.
(2)Ellie C.
(5)Lisa D.
(4)C-Aye P.
(5)Blaze W.
Awesome restaurant with a ton of different food options. I went for breakfast and enjoyed the omelette. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was excellent. I have heard from others that they have incredible pies, though I didn't try them.
(4)Craig N.
(4)Jennifer M.
(4)John H.

(5)Keith B.
So yum. So good. Easy parking, super friendly people. Great food. Great specials. Love it.
(5)Donna H.

(4)Gloria C.
Food is not good here and extremely expensive for what it is. Never coming back here
(1)Sarah B.
(5)Ed T.
Some of the best liver and onions around great gravy Definitely the best rhubarb pie for about 4 hundred and twenty miles Not sweet not too tart just perfection in every fork
(5)Martin V.
(4)Adrienne A.
Good home cookin', great selection, awesome coffee and a friendly staff. What more could you want?! AND THOSE PIES THO!
(5)Brandon S.
(4)Sabrina L.
(2)Brittaney P.
Cranberry mimosas for brunch? Yes, please! Their cornbread is absolutely amazing and the staff is great. Love this place.
(5)Kristin L.
I loved the veggie burger with the jalapeno sauce! I will definitely be going back to eat again soon!
(5)Mary Ann G.
We tried this place for lunch. Food and portion size is great. Customer service is outstanding. Buying a pie to go! Will definitely be back.
(5)Valerie L.
(1)Marcos C.
(5)Stuart W.
(4)Alex A.
Ordered take out overall the food was your typical diner food. Not by any means saying it's not good quality, just nothing out of the ordinary. Good for breakfast, prices are acceptable.
(3)Michelle Denise S.
(5)Eve M.
(4)Michael W.
LOVE this place, my boyfriend and I go here all the time. Everything on the menu is good or excellent, and the pies are all worth trying (and there's about 20... no, 24 of them). Love the waitstaff and love the quiet vibe. We'll be regulars unless we leave LA.
(5)Xiouping C.
Friendly fast yummy, a go to if your very very hungry and in a hurry for a great breakfast. Cool hip waiter who pays attention to detail which is what I want.
(5)Amanda S.
I haven't had anything that I've disliked at Four N 20. My favorites are the blueberry bread (whatever you do, order it, it's warm, fluffy, fresh, and delicious) and tortilla soup. Service is hit or miss, but that doesn't really bother me.
(4)Julio M.
This place is great. Great food, great people, great ambiance. If you're ok with a hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant, then this place is right for you! Super gay-friendly. I felt right at home.
(4)Lori A.
(2)Jeff P.
(5)Angel M.
Can you go wrong with pie? Never! Sweet potato pie was seasonal but delicious! ! Such a quaint adorable place. I came because of the name originally lol but I'll return for the pie. Thanks guys!
(5)William R.
Yummy.....guacamole cheddar cheese omlet..blueberry cinnamon bread...country potatos...do I need to say more????
(5)Layla H.
Staff was great! Food is horrible! I'm talking down to the quality of the watered down juice. And they charge $4.95 if you need to use an extra plate! I will not be repeating this journey. ¡No bueno!
(2)Akop M.
Always come to this place! Family type atmosphere! They always nice, love the service and food is amazing!
(5)Frank M.
Get it!!!
(4)Rogelio J.
(5)Paige X.
(2)Steven B.
(2)Guy T.
Service was friendly, Great breakfast pancakes were amazing, home fries a little hard but still amazing , ill be back
(5)Clara B.
(5)Vincent M.
For the Pie only...the Banana & Coconut Creme are the best anywhere....Cant speak to the other menu food...only had pie and been getting it for 30 years when in the valley!!!!
(5)Jose G.
I love this place and can usually say nothing but good things about it. My girlfriend and I love coming in Sunday morning before she heads into work. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
(5)Maria P.
Love, love, love the blueberry bread and whipped butter! Must have! I ordered the Texas scramble and my mom the veggie omelette. Service was excellent, Tony is adorable...food was good too. I'll order pancakes next time, because we will go back.
(4)Preston M.
(4)Carol H.
I have only had pies from here and by far my favorite is the banana cream! A must try if you like banana cream pies!
(5)Linda B.
(4)Kendall M.
(3)Antonio A.
Pie, Burgers, Pork Chops, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Pie, Icecream, Pie, Soy stuff, Pie, Icecream, Pie, Pancakes, Pie, IceCream Pie Wait, there is also Pie! Um....its the 420 restaurant, Im sorry if I forgot what I just said, but I love pie!
(5)Lisa A.
(2)cheng k.
(3)Lilani E.
(5)Kevin K.

(5)Aubrey L.
(5)Lauren D.
this place is fabulous. i would see it all the time driving home from hollywood on laurel canyon and finally told my boys we should go check it out. HOT DAMN! this place is incredible.
(5)Art B.
good place for breakfast all day, nice selection of omelettes, sandwiches, and other diner food. Didn't try the pies, but good neighborhood diner atmosphere, plenty of parking, good service, lots of healthy (and not-so-healthy) choices. They even offer a "Fitness" menu - lots of egg-white omelets and high-protein dishes.
(4)Candis H.
This was the greatest find! A coworker and I were out in the area and decided to try and support "small business" restaurants. Our server was informative and absolutely wonderful, the food was DELICIOUS and the blueberry muffin is TO DIE FOR!!!!
(4)Alexandra P.
(4)Sean K.
(4)Rosiero P.

(5)Vince D.
I was once served a piece of pie here that had mold on it. Honest to god mold. Which means it was probably sitting in their display cabinet for quite some time. Ever since then, I've been afraid to go back. Ick!

i heart their sweet potato pies!!! i get it like every thanksgiving season.

(1)Richard H.
So I've never actually eaten AT Four N 20, but every summer my dad picks up a fresh peach pie, and it's mind-boggling! Pops knows his sweets. He's a post triple-bypass diabetic, so believe me when I say that any sugar he eats is tempting fate. But honestly, that flaky golden crust loaded to the top with fresh peach slices... what a pie!
(4)Lori K.
(4)John V.
$9.25 for two eggs and toast? The service is great, but the prices are outrageous for what it is.
(2)Eliz G.
(3)Diana A.
not impressed with the chilli at all! would have done better with store bought canned stuff! fries were great as well as the bananna cream pie! i had to call a waitress to take my order which was not ideal since the place was not even that busy! second time there.. but i think iam over this place unless iam craving bananna cream pie!

(4)Daliah R.
The food is good and the service is excellent. Why I gave it three stars instead of four is because the soup was a little salty, but more importantly because they heat their pies in the microwave. No self respecting baker would ever do that. So if you ask for your pie warm, expect a chewy gooey crust.
(3)Carlos A.
I was introduced to this place by a buddy and I loved this place. A little overpriced and the chilaquiles was just okay. The staff was very friendly and a nice dining room. I had a good experience but the food was just okay.
(4)Frou Frou Fox I.
5 stars for a la moded pecan pie and coffee. Plus they give you non-dairy creamer by default. Me likes. Coming back for breakfast w/friends or family.

(4)Nick C.
They do everything right! Service is on point and food is made perfect. Not the cleanest place but I don't care about that. This place rocks!
(5)Garrett G.
I've only been here for breakfast, but it's awesome! My wife and I go here every week now and recommend it to everyone. It's got a great home style feel.

(4)Eric V.
Omg! They have the best food. And the pies... The Pies!!! Delicious. Wonderful people. Awesome food. Great atmosphere!

(5)Gina J.
(4)Eugene B.
My favorite breakfast spot. Every time I come here, the staff is always smiling. Service always great.
(5)Shelly I.
I learned about this place from a friend a few years ago and really like it here...It's very old school but that's part of the charm...I went there for breakfast and it was very tasty...You have to try the blueberry bread side with the cinnamon butter it is sooooo YUMMY! I had a simple bacon and eggs with fruit and I finished everything ;) The coffee was pretty good too for a diner....The prices are fair and the service was good...It was busy but I got seated quick and the food came out pretty quickly too ;)
(4)Rachelle W.
(4)Rakefet A.

(5)Ellise C.
This place is great! I've been coming here for years. My boyfriend and I always share a black bean burger and a fried chicken salad. Very "homey" food.
(5)Anu M.
(4)Samantha G.
Good food, EXCELLENT staff, and delicious pie. What more can you ask for from a diner? The bathrooms are so small, they made me wonder what the building used to be before FourNTwenty.
(4)Shani A.
Had a yummE tuna melt and had to try their pies. I ordered the Apple Pie and it was DElish!
(4)Mister F.
(4)Karina V.
(5)Silva M.
We went to the one in Sherman Oaks, good food and service!!
(5)Loee M.
Best breakfast in town! Amazing cornbread and the pie can't be missed
(5)Adam H.
Took my parents here... (very elderly) good for them.. overpriced Norm's is what I think... breakfast is good.. not great. Staff are nice... maybe best part
(3)James H.

(5)Timothy Michael G.
(5)Mychal S.

(5)Alicia L.
(5)Christopher R.
Nice
(3)H S.
Hands down, THE BEST pumpkin pie and banana cream pie in LA. This place has good breakfast and lunch food, but their specialty is really pies.
(5)Tad Y.
(2)David A R.

(2)vinny b.
(5)Dennis M.
(3)katy m.
Just thought since I mentioned the chatty server last time, I would be fair and mention that we got this server again recently and she was much less chatty! Showed up when we needed her and didn't interrupt us once! Cool.
(5)Cedi A.

Tip = try the Brownie Fudge Cake - it's M's personal favorite.. ;)
(5)Mark S.
Went here with my girlfriend. A salad, a little blueberry bread, and the cajun chicken and spaghetti came to $17.00 but it was just one meal, so it is pricey but it was nice.
(5)Bryan W.

Good burger, good pie and good service. We were happy with our visit.

Amazing breakfast, hands down. Came for some chili, left addicted to the biscut and gravy. DANK

(4)Elo C.
Very nice place with very good food and great hot chocolates :)
(4)Cynthia S.
Food is alright, nothing special, but decent. Musician friendly! Staff is friendly but often off in La La land. Blackened pork chops are a good dish, if you like pork!
(2)Josh G.
"Dutch apple, please?" NOPE. These pies are on your menu. Why don't you have them?
(2)Dominique M.

(4)Thanh H.
I don't normally leave reviews but this place is awesome!! Great blueberry bread! Hash browns and omlettes made perfectly. Patty melt and fries were crisp to perfection. Great service! Food came out freaky fast! Will definitely be back.
(5)Deon B.
I have gone to 4 n 20 for many years. The staff are friendly and the food is great. From breakfast to lunch it's all good. Michael (the owner), is a great guy and knows how to run a business. So stop on by for a good meal.
(5)Madeline M.
This is great in a pinch if you're craving comfort food. I was too full to sample the dessert, and that was the whole reason we came here! Needless to say, the portion is large for dinner. I think the service could have been a bit more attentive, but it was something I could live with.
(3)David T.
(1)Ted W.
(5)Brendon K.
A great diner with good food - and awesome pies! I love the strawberry rhubarb ala mode - but all the pies are fresh and delicious and highly recommended. The service is fast and friendly and the coffee is good :) * open till 11:30pm
(4)Tiffany F.

To die for.
(4)Brook P.
Awesome Pies!!!
(5)Bruce K.
Amiable. Good service. Food is okay, The custard pie is quite nice. It's nearby and I enjoy it every now and then. This is rather a terse review with none of my usual pith. I have, apparently, had the pith taken out of me. I am pithless in Studio City.
(3)Whitney S.

(5)Phyllis E.
WE love it.
(4)Joe L.
Great, friendly service and the food is what you expect and want from this diner style eatery. The best chicken tortilla soup in the valley! Get a pie for later, too!
(5)Abra W.
(4)Mikey J.
The food is decent...pie is ok...but $7 dollars for three pancakes? Shiet! Give it shot if you want, but I'm telling you, its over priced for food thats not that great. That's entertainment!
(2)Matt C.
(4)Mark O.
(5)Sam E.
(4)Heather H.

(4)Mikhaila A.
(5)Ali K.
(5)Jess K.
Definitely try the Great muffin with cinnamon butter! It is huge and melts in your mouth. Service was quick and friendly! Our waiter recommended the Californian sandwich, basically a Tuna melt with guacamole and sprouts. It was a good choice.
(4)Rachel D.
(4)Caligirl P.

Chocolate banana peanut butter pie for breakfast. Four stars.

PIE! PIE!

(4)Aaron W.
I come here a lot and everything I've had is good. The tuna salad sandwich on toasted rye is awesome. If they would improve the quality of their espressos I would give them 5 stars.
